Politics is exhausting, especially if you're LGBT. But if you're in the US, the choice is pretty damn easy, so don't feel bad if you need or want to tune out for a bit.

Just know when your elections are and research the candidates maybe a month beforehand. Even easier with a mail-in ballot. I never knew which judge was which until I could google it with the ballot in hand tbh.

@SirTapTap Tell me about! If I were to guessas to why it as it is right now (US and globally), it is an election year in quite a few countries, most prominently the US and the UK. Tho, it has been bad for a while, so I might be wrong.

If your political belief depends on the majority of the population suddenly, drastically, and permanently changing their beliefs and actions with no action of your own or others, you have a religion, not a political belief

And even for religions, it's a shit one

Vote, organize, get involved, do things. Or shut the fuck up and don't pretend you matter. Reply Guys are not a valid political position

Please make yourself VISIBLE by registering to and participating in every election you can! A lot of gross policies are very local, where your vote counts much more. "Both sides" is a form of vote suppression

Block anyone who tries to discourage you or others from voting. Monsters.
