We just finished "We Were Here Expeditions: The Friendship" and @IrgendSoEine and me almost scored a perfect score.
We collected all the golden tickets and we had a blast.
It's less story focused than the other "We Were Here" games, but it was very nice c:

We Were Here Expeditions: The Friendship ending scene from our playthrough. Our two crewmates are on some kind of watery rollercoaster ride and a picture is being taken with our score displayed.

In other news, I gotta admit that I didn't think I'd like the new Rainbow Six Siege subscription Ubisoft announced.

Sure it's not a 100% cool and I am not the biggest fan of subscriptions..
BUT it's actually a worthy successor to the year pass I've missed so much, this year.
Plus it's actually worth the money, if you know you'll buy the battle passes, anyway.
At least if you pay the reduced price per year.

I thought that's the whole point?
You buy chests with a risk so you can at least re-roll the stuff for a good value.

Thats a huge "fuck you" to loyal skin collectors like myself who have to rely on that system to get rarer skins.

The direction that Riot Games is taking deeply saddens me as a decade long fan of the game and the franchise.

It feels like they are losing touch with their own fans, lately.

Maybe they need to make up for the escalating costs of their MMO?
I dunno. Maybe I'm just trying to justify their greedy asses.

I've never felt bad about spending money on this game, but lately I started questioning if all that money and dedication was for nothing.

Honestly this makes me so damn angry.
Not only because I was personally attacked, but because the sole reason these people type in chat, is making others feel miserable.

This behavior is just intolerable.
As a community we need to be better and call each other out, if we misbehave.

Be better than this.

For context:
I was going 16/18/10 or something on Reyna in a unrated and I just congratulated them on the ace they pulled off.
I haven't typed anything in chat and they were AFK a couple of rounds before.
Therefore I was kinda happy they were back and going strong.
After that my joy died for obvious reasons.

Don't get me wrong, I WANT to be nicer to Ubisoft, on here, but they ain't making that easy for me.

On Tuesday I felt like playing some R6.
After 2 games where the statistics and rewards barely loaded afterwards, the servers gave in and I couldn't play for a couple of hours.

Played some CoD4, then.
Mind you, this game is 17 years old and the mod community maintains the servers better than a multi million dollar company.
