30 hours deep into Palworld, I gotta say that I really like the game, even though it has its flaws.

It's a lot of fun to collect the Pals, roam the world, search for resources and rank up your base.

What is less fun is how often times the Pals do not do their assigned tasks, properly, or they just get stuck completely because they glitched through a wall or into a closed building.

I think the glitching through walls thing and fire Pals using heaters for no reason at all annoys me the most.

Also some things take unnecessarily long to craft and that's just boring and slows down the game loop, rapidly.

Personally I'd love to have some kind of planning overview for my base, where I could permanently assign tasks to Pals and turn off some of their abilities so they don't stop cutting wood to eat and carry around random stuff, afterwards, for example.
Maybe even being able to turn tasks on and off for each Pal so if they search for work they don't uselessly use heaters and torches.

Neither the latest official NVIDIA RTX driver nor the hotfix for said driver run Rainbow Six Siege correctly on my machine.
And I don't seem to be the only one.
Thats just stupid.
How is that not fixed, yet?
Rollback to the driver from January, it is 🙄

Apparently the buttons work after a while.
It's still a bad experience and not acceptable.
The servers are not needed for 3rd party offline games, at all.

Playnite is pretty neat.
I love to see statistics based on my whole game catalogue like that, even if I have to set some values, manually.
Even better: It's open source.

The only things I don't like, so far:
It does not support the PlayStation library.
It does not show my online friends from Steam and XBox directly in the application.
There is no indicator for how many games match the current filter.

Also the Battle.net plugin needs the login credentials after every restart of the application or longer periods of being idle.
But that's Blizzard's fault.
It's the same for the GoG Galaxy 2.0 plugin.

It's so interesting and funny to me how Nintendo reacts to the whole Palworld situation.
You could've owned this market, years ago, but you chose not to.
Now you - most likely - can't use the only tool you know to fight clones of your franchise which is copyright and law enforcement (If they really didn't use AI trained on Pokémon or stole character models. I highly doubt they've done that, atm).
So now you've got to helplessly watch them taking over your spot on the PC market.

And you realize that those 8 million sold copies could have been yours.
If you had decided to actually care about the development of the games in your franchise.
If you hadn't chosen to release one or two games, every year, no matter if they are ready or even presentable.
If you had cared about what your fans want.
If you had even remotely cared about your server infrastructure (which is a total disaster, imo).
If you would actually deliver value for the prices you are demanding, nowadays.

If you had not been greedy.
If you had tried to stay as family-friendly, as you once were (seriously, I miss DS download game. One cartridge for multiplayer with friends and family was amazing).
If you had actually given Game Freak more resources so that they can deliver what they want to deliver.
If you had opened up to other platforms (other than mobile), so your customers can enjoy the amazing games on those platforms and game together with friends, who don't own a Switch.
