There's an important problem the world faces daily that not enough people are talking about. Tortilla chips are NOT strong enough. They often break when trying to scoop something as simple as salsa, or even in your 7 layer dips

@jake4480 That's sounds like great teamwork. That is one heck of a commute 😅 mine is an hour each way, and luckily because if COVID I can now work from home 2 days a week and I usually celebrate the extra time by staying in bed longer each day, having a luxury breakfast and getting to the library 😎

I'm a firm believer that graphic novels are valid reading material and are a medium that's halfway between a book and a film 🤓

Good morning and Happy Wednesday!

Today is my official "Mastoversary." Now this account I made in November 2022, but my first Mastodon account as made today two years ago on Dot Social.

In these two years, my social media experience has been better. I've had more direct conversations with folks about so many things. Learned about more new music. Kept connected about politics, without as much of the...wild anger, bitterness, and screaming angrily into the void.

I am glad to be here with y'all.

Three times is normal, if I only play something once, if it's new, then that's not s good sign, it's not a death knell, but it's not favourable

@jake4480 I don't force my way through anything, some I'm not convinced, but it can win me over as the album plays. There's moments where the play through doesn't move me, but somehow I find myself coming back to it. The most enigmatic of those was last year's Bell Witch's Future Shadow
Clandestine Gate. That was a grower as the brain processed it even after I wasn't playing it. 🤔 It was like s puzzle my brain had to go back and solve. Another like that was Cattle Decapitation

@jake4480 I swear a lot is pure musical and mental/emotional lottery, it all depends on so many things. Something might get accepted or rejected on mood, I'm aware there's things that don't gel with me and I can see it's decent stuff, it just doesn't fit at that moment.
