    @niavy @edasfr mon conjoint (on a une « petite » différence d’âge) fait ça aussi.

    Je lui envoie des messages et il me répond avec des vocaux. Quand je voie les 4-5 lignes présentant les vocaux j’ai un frisson. 😅

    Remarque d’un pro.

    Le passage des ports Lightning au port USB-C sur les iPhones va coûter cher.

    Tous les jours j’ai des ports Lightning à nettoyer de poussières coincé dedans.

    J’ai aussi eu 3 iPhones 15 dont les ports USB-C ont été endommagé par des clients qui les ont nettoyé eux-mêmes.
    Un dommage accidentel hors garantie.

    Car le Lightning a ses contacts sur un côté et est vide en son centre. L’USB-C a ses connecteurs en son centre et l’espace autour est très limité.

    NASA is sending a patch to Voyager 2, at 16 bits per second. Launched in 1977, it's ~12.5 billion miles away, almost 19 light hours, data sent using the BIG dish in Canberra. If all goes well when they activate the patch, they'll roll it out to Voyager 1 next.

    Hope they still remember the root password.

    @dmandl @lauren well… people integer the idea that apps as to be free, or at least cost only a very few.
    And because of that, the development as to be as fast and as cheap as possible.
    So the use of bricks of software badly developed or not easily traçable and the storage of the customer data to make profile profit prevent the apps to be sel-sufficient.

    And then, if only one piece of the program is falling apart, all the system is broken.

    Je suis à un congrès, il n'est pas 10h du matin et j'ai déjà eu :

    • accident sur la voie express impliquant seulement 4 véhicules
    • opération de déminage bloquant le transport suivant
    • pas de badge à l'arrivée, les assistantes ont oublié de m'inscrire
    • LE CAFÉ EST DÉGUEULASSE

    Phone Technology Question!

    The hubs and I were having a discussion about Apple continually releasing new iPhones without any actual innovation. That lead us to a few questions, that I, of course, said, Well, I'll ask Mastodon about it! So here goes:

    Have we reached as far with Phone Technology, as it exists as a rectangle piece of hardware in your pocket, as we can?

    Is the future in software?

    What about a better version of Google Glass?

    Are we heading towards implants?

    Please don't mention anything with a see through screen, literally no one wants other people to see what they are doing on their phone! LOL

    I used to compare it with restaurants.
    You have fancy one and some other very roots.
    Some restaurants charge you an insane amount of cash for meals which look like just almost the same at yours dinner’s joint.

    Some change their menu each season and some other has the same “carte” for the last 30 years.

    And finally some people can do all at home.

    The choice is the only real answer.

    @macgeneration c’est aussi un moyen assez simple et rapide pour ré-initialiser le mot de passe iCloud d’un autre compte (avec le propriétaire à côté de vous bien entendu). Le processus est plus simple et rapide que via l’interface web.
