    I've asked ISP for IPv6 range to check if it started to be more usable now than when I trtied it last time and it's still the same garbage as it was. There are still 2 ways how to get and address DHCPv6 and SLAAC and some things need one to work and other things the second, so you have to support both in your network. DHCPv6 is giving some machines /128 and some /64. Router for sometimes can't distinguish what's LAN and what's WAN. For example SSH can't be accessed from IPv6 at all and web correctly only from LAN, even when both are set to be LAN only. IPv6 was a mistake.

    And of course when you need both DHCPv6 and SLAAC, the router gives you possibility just to choose one or another. And you have get out of the web interface and try to somehow set it up directly in the configs.

    If you feel like you're having a bad day, just be aware that a woman mowing her lawn was recently attacked by a snake that FELL OUT OF THE SKY.

    It wrapped around her arm and broke her glasses trying to bite her face.

    And then A HAWK swooped down and clawed the living daylights out of the woman with its talons trying to get back the snake it had dropped.

    Just in case, you know, she wasn't already a hundred percent certain that she had pissed off the universe.

    The dutch government now has an official Mastodon instance, this gives government organisations and institutions the chance to have an official account in the fediverse. The instance is not for all citizens wanting to join Mastodon. I hope more governments will follow because the fediverse gives them the possibilty to fully control the data , no advertising etc.

    at the checkout screen for Norwegian Airlines, they offer you the choice to pay for climate offsetting and also a donation to UNICEF.

    is anyone checking if these sums actually go toward those goals?

    and how good is the accounting at UNICEF? i don't have a great deal of faith here...

    @sesivany @jie Přesně tak, se solárem je klimatizace zadarmo. Vlastně je to hezký paradox, jak nám slunce chladí. A jít pak spát do vychlazené místnosti je krása.

    Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales completed. Much shorter then previous Spider-Man and also easier. The new powers are making it too simple. All achievements without a sweat.
