Joe Biden could pack the courts and could of codified roe v wade into law but didn’t do that before the Supreme Court knocked it down. I know there’s a difference from the two political parties but it’s not an effective one so i don’t ostracize people who don’t feel the affects of the “difference”. It’s cruel, ineffective and it points fingers at underprivileged voters. I blame the people in power for failing to step up to the moment.

I disagree they’re is always a chance for progressive movements. We don’t have to rely on Biden or fear Trump to make a progressive movement a reality. We don’t have to cooperate or legitimize oppressive coercive systems ever

Well we’re just gonna have to disagree. Because my ideas come across differently to my peers. These points of view and Understandings have been needed to be said and discussed rationally for a long time now. But libs would rather not take us stance seriously. And the voice of a small is something to take serious to me.

I can’t but my trust in Biden the same man funding a genocide when he could stop and but pressure on Israel at anytime. I wouldn’t underestimate student protesters like myself the system has been grinding all of our futures to destabilization.

Honestly we don’t know the future but I imagine my peers and I might be able to achieve goals that go above and beyond electoral politics or voting in the next war criminal -oops I mean president- into office

But if we don’t have a revolutionary imagination we will never be free

keeps throwing money at the problem to help a privileged few who meet the requirements to get federal aid but that’s not gonna address the root causes of the disease that has plagued America since the settler colonies were established, natives were killed, and slaves were sold on this land. He practically ignores the idea of a wealth tax, reparations, and ending homelessness. But yet he will save “democracy”.

I still eat meat cuz I just think it’s tasty. I don’t think I’m superior to the animals I eat I think we’re equals and i don’t like how the food industry works in gen. Ig I’m bringing this up cuz I’m not vegan myself but I think being vegan is cool. I’m just not vegan. is it impossible for me to be in alliance with a fight to get rid of certain practices in the food industry if currently I eat meat like I would strike but only if it led to effective change. Cuz I have no qualms w/ meat eating

@StillIRise1963 yep and the whole layout and structure of the system needs to change and people can change them we don’t have to follow bs rules and outdated organizational systems if they ain’t working to keep us safe. Human beings need to stop being driven by incentives like profit and maybe get driven by improving quality of life in my opinion

@anarchopunk_girl even if people want to reject that fact him being black and gender nonconforming still plays a big role on how he’s getting treated for the failings and mistakes of the code rather than other contributors and people reading so blindly into the intentions of why the blocklist looks as it does including structural mistakes without knowing what’s going on BTS when the reality is people get to block people for whatever reasons imagined narratives or not

@anarchopunk_girl I hope people step back & reflect on different perspectives& what they might not be seeing as a white trans person that a black trans person can see.Cuz all white people r participants in racism whether they like it or not & racism has also been causing ongoing suffering on this planet like humans are gonna spread BS others won’t grasp they may recognize em as mistakes sometimes. But effort be made 2 rectify conflict by different responsibility & experiences

@anarchopunk_girl I just read your longer post & I mainly agree I was on mastodon.art but left cuz the admin blocking system seemed unfair to me I think my problem is white people dismissing the racism and as a driving factor playing a role and manipulating how the fedi deals with criticism even behind real issues I take with fedi yes racism is playing a role in this dynamic even with the people in good faith cuz the scale of antiblackness and it’s effect is out of our control

@anarchopunk_girl me personally as someone who also has criticism I speak in an open dialogue about what I don’t think is going to be a useful tool in keeping the marginalized communities on the fedi safe and I say do be loud about your disagreement but maybe also don’t be fast to say racism can’t be playing a part when it’s an undercurrent around everyone life on the globe and just try to navigate that criticism acknowledging that power dynamic & diverse experiences r at play

Look young people need more options then which old rich White man they should vote for. We need to empower everyone. Elections usually mean pick which oligarch u want to make decisions for ur community that ur community is perfectly capable of doing 4 themselves with the right supports that are being denied to em by representatives in power be there for your community hear their voices fuck cops and fuck politicians and in general fascist trying to control us. @StillIRise1963 I think there is a conversation to have about joe Biden’s age and how it has effected his performance and why young people are frustrated with the little power they have over their lives and how older generations have so much power over them because of the different conditions they were somewhat “fortunate” to lived under as they were growing up. And i think not leaving room to at least acknowledge that inequality aids fascists

I think it’s true that both reps have no clue what marginalized youth face
