MetricIsRight,

Since this change from google I have constant buffering issues on my home invidious instance, need to try updating my docker when I get home.

MetricIsRight,

Been replaying through Y’s VII: Lacrimosa of Dana. Such a great JRPG and Falcoms sound team was absolutely on point for this title.

MetricIsRight,

I want an EV wagon. Give me early 2000’s sized Volvo wagon EV. I don’t need a SUV or a truck. Wagons just make more sense.

Strattera vs Sleep Deprivation

I’ve long had problems with random, unfounded bouts of anxiety. I’ve been taking Strattera and it has partially helped with this: when it works (which is 80% of the time), I can feel it keeping me in a mellow headspace at moments when I would have previously had racing thoughts and mental tunnel vision. Specifically, the...

MetricIsRight,

That’s me all the time, I find it equally as odd when I do have a dream.

MetricIsRight,

I had messed around with various distros in the mid 2000’s but never more than a day. Just as a “this seems neat” kinda thing. Recently I wised up, tried Zorin OS was on that for a year, then went back to windows for a while. now I’m running EndeavorOS and there isn’t even a windows partition on this machine, I will not be going back. Still debating setting up QEMU for the only windows only program I miss though.

MetricIsRight,

You could play a game of Global Thermonuclear War

This week in KDE: Plasma bug fixes and UI improvements (pointieststick.com)

The bug-fixing continued this week with the aim of getting Plasma 6.0.3 into a great state. Already the big bugs you folks found have almost all been fixed, and this week a lot of time was spent on some X11 regressions and various crashes that our new automatic crash reporting system was able to find (thanks for submitting...

MetricIsRight,

Wayland is still unusable for me. Was happily running Wayland in 5.27 But have encountered nothing but issues in 6.0, main one being performing any sort of action with animations, scrolling, opening notifications etc causes the desktop frame rate to pummet, sometimes even hitting zero. All AMD build as well. I’ll keep checking back to see if it’s fixed but I’m too new to Linux to do any real sleuthing. X11 has been working fine in the meantime.

MetricIsRight,

I basically jumped right into music on the heavier side of things, First album I bought was Disturbed - Believe.

MetricIsRight,

Unleash The Archers - General of the Dark Army

MetricIsRight,

Awesome shot! We have a couple of these Pileated Woodpeckers in my neck of B.C. as well. They’re quite timid though, only seem to be able to catch them leaving our yard.

This makes me even more excited to properly test my latest lens acquisition come spring, a 300mm F4.5 in beautiful shape :)

MetricIsRight,

Could turn it into a emulation box, play some classics.

MetricIsRight,

Will definitely be checking some of these out!

MetricIsRight,

I want to believe that your joking…but sadly I think I know better by now…

MetricIsRight,

Looks great! I’m currently in the process of building my first ever keyboard from scratch. I was between the Ergodash and the Lily58, and decided to go Lily58, seeing how nice yours turned out though is making me question my choice 😂.

MetricIsRight,

Thank you for reminding me of Material Shell, I tried it years ago on an older build of Zorin OS and it crashed constantly. Excited to give it another whirl, and great to see he’s working on the same concept with a new implementation,

MetricIsRight,

Pixel 7 Pro here, haven’t seen this at all, it’s just dead space for me.

MetricIsRight,

Pity the person you replied too didn’t seem to take any of this in. Very well composed post, and I definitely learned something, Thank you.

MetricIsRight,

Every morning I go by a entire lot filled with Jeep 4xe’s they can’t sell because they are too damned expensive. At least a couple hundred of them. Where I am as well even the base model they priced just right so it doesn’t get any government incentives or kicks backs for buying a EV or Hybrid which makes it one of the most expensive options in the category.

MetricIsRight,

I’ve done this swap a lot. So hopefully this helps.

They do feel good. Definitely a little bit different than the original sticks, when they are new they feel tighter / stiffer than even a brand new joycon, but not overly so, they do loosen up a bit over time but are still stiffer overall. The rubber caps feel pretty much indistinguishable to me vs original.

MetricIsRight,

Thanks for the suggestion! It looks like super clean is available here in Canada, but it’s 4x the price, gotta love Canadian pricing. I’ll definitely check this out. But as someone else suggested I might try Dettol and IPA first as those are cheap and readily available.

MetricIsRight,

Dettol is super cheap here so thanks for the suggestion, I’ll definitely give this a whirl, how long do you usually leave them in there for? 4-6 hours or more of an overnight kinda thing?

MetricIsRight,

Ooo, thanks for the suggestion, that is available here in Canada and it’s cheap too!

MetricIsRight,

I’m in a similar boat, Played very briefly as a broke kid, but mostly just lusted after models. My coworker convinced me to get back into it, so now I’m have a Death Guard Combat patrol all built, just need to get some primer on them to start getting them painted!

I look forward to seeing some WIP photos on the Salamanders!

And hopefully I can get some WIP photos of the death guard!
