It's time for a new and my third run of Mass Effect Andromeda. The more I play, the better my Ryder looks. It's easy for me to choose professional over casual (since casual is too sarcastic), but whenever I try to be logical, I end up switching back to being emotional before I even land on Eos!

This game didn't deserve the hate it got, and I certainly didn't deserve to be harassed on the Facebook page for expressing my enjoyment!

@ZombieGopher Thanks, though I didn't do much. I picked one of the presets, changed the hair and eyes, and added some extras like that scar.

I think people set their expectations too high for this game and while it doesn't beat the original trilogy itis still a great game on its own. 😊

@hush404 For sure, I had problems on my first run but now it works great. Stupid bandwagon hate.

I love the story of the angara and their lore. I only eish we got to learn more about them, the Remnant and their creatorsthe Jaardan.

@apzpins Well, it depends on how you make Ryder. The NPCs some I liked, even loved, and others were just meh. The only romance option for me is Jaal.

Bugs, on the other hand, the game was rushed clearly when it was out, but so far, I think they've been fixed.

This is just me but I managed to find enjoyment out of plenty of quests because there was more emphasis on exploration and minding the environmental hazards whereas as great as the original trilogy was, it was quite linear.

@mosu Combat was super fun, and while the story has some exciting moments, it is quite short if you remove all of the side quests. I really hoped it could start a new Mass Effect trilogy. There's so much we don't know about the Angara, Remnant, the kett, and the Jardaan.

Hell, I still remember seeing the Archon's second on command, Primus at the end, like she was about to lot revenge, and we'll never get to see it now. 😟

I never look at the setlist prior to a because I like to be surprised other than the songs I know will definitely be played. I know for sure will do Dragula and Living Dead Girl, for instance.

But I don't mind looking at it after the concert to recall and listen to songs again that I liked and I did not hear until the show.

There is one reason I like and it's the fact that it encourages commenting because people can comment on individual paragraphs as they think of things to say, so you can get a play by play of someone's thoughts while they were reading your story.

Too bad they don't (technically) allow nsfw, and also the site is mostly kids and extremely new writers, so the quality is pretty bad... I do love the stories having cover images though. Makes it feel like you're opening book, and that it may be a masterpiece.

@SatouMatsuzaka I have no fucking clue. I guess they didn't even read it because there is no gay stuff in it.

I don't like em either. One of my friends wrote one, but many of them are poorly written and have no story. It's just smut, and yet they get tens of thousands of reads! 🤦‍♀️ That's my other gripe. If you want to make your own x reader story, go do it yourself. It's not the same as what I do, but still. 😉
