BIG NEWS! I'll be at the first ever WebComicon, Aug 3-4, in Ferndale, MI. I'm calling on the Lovenfam to show up in force and bring some Lovenstyle to this convention. Link for tickets below 👇
This comic was made in honor of my dear friend, Caleb, who sadly passed away earlier this month. He was one of my greatest friends. Among the many things we did together, he built the website that my comics would call home to this day. Thanks for everything, Caleb. Rest easy.
One of the weirdest modern things to me is this obsession with generations. Maybe I haven't read the right stuff, but you pick up a 19th or 18th century book and they talk about the past, or conflict in families between old and young, but never this weird cohort-antagonism thing?
Could be it's random culture shit, but maybe it's because people have fewer kids, so they don't span generations? Or maybe tech acceleration means cohorts have more differences that are real?
Offhand thought from regularly reading the reddit comics page.
Are GenZ more comfortable with men-are-like-this/women-are-like-that jokes than millennial were? Or maybe it's just that today's webcomics are more mainstream-oriented?
Mars colonization, space babies, thin Antarctic pizza slices, the Outer Space treaty, male appendage measuring contests and more in this discussion between @ZachWeinersmith, Dr. Weinersmith, and @adamconover
