Best gardening weather today, so we took care of the vegetables. We'll be cooking again from tomorrow on: Japanese Oyakodon, Italian pasta alla zozzona and Chinese black bean mushrooms. The one or the other soon.

Soaking whole black urad and kidney beans overnight. Tomorrow's dinner and next will be Dal Makhani, one of the most famous dishes of Punjabi cuisine. For us, the best Dal of all.

@luthien1126 @Homecooking Where we live, flat-leaf parsley is more common than curly-leaf parsley. A great dish with it is of course tabbouleh!
