While annoying - that’s a completely separate issue.
Though it’s probably why they only charge $20 when insurance is definitely paying more than that.
I guess that’s why Therapists/Psychiatrists will charge a full fee because there is no queue like that. It’s truly 1 full hour wasted. Nobody is going to show up early to fill the slot.
I just recently learned that this is a thing that exists. I’ve had a couple audiology tests that use these weird headphones with firm rubber balls where normally expect to see the speakers; the rubber balls sit on your temporal bone, and there’s a metal bar the wraps around your head connecting them and giving them pressure...
Right and it’s also better for Air Buds and all other Earbuds which is what they should be compared to. They’re not bone conduction and need to be judged by that standard.
Maybe this is the Gen X or Millennial in me but I take phone calls outside, or to the other room.
They make them with Boom Mics so you pull it down when you’re talking.
Either way if someone is talking on the phone right in front of me - I don’t consider it rude to listen, or even butt in. It’s low key rude that they’re having a private conversation right in front of you whichever headphone they wear.
Look down at community colleges all day but I work with people doing the same job making the same pay (know your rights) but i don’t have 35 years of debt.
I got into University - they wanted $8,000/semester. Community College across the street offered 4 year degrees for $1200/semester.
That’s one of the reasons I can’t stand Bluey. So many tantrums.
Do the kids at the end of the episode learn what they did wrong? Yeah I guess…
Does my toddler just see a kids punching their dad? Stabbing him painfully with a sharp object as a play doctor? Throwing a Muffin level tantrum? Does she see all of these things and mimic them completely ignoring the end-of-the-episode lesson? Yup.
