PlexSheep,

What was the topic of the article? Can you link it?

Fron the looks of it: Homelabber discovers that cloud computing exists

PlexSheep,

Link for anyone looking:

1010! Klooni (A libGDX game based on 1010) f-droid.org/packages/dev.lonami.klooni/

PlexSheep, (edited )

Netcup is cheap and reliable. Based in Germany, I host my personal website and a few tools with one of their VPS. Never had a problem with them and the price is good.

Edit: If you’re looking for web hosting, they offer that too alternatively.

PlexSheep,

Just a typo. Fixed it

PlexSheep, (edited )

Iirc that somewhat common. I always play D5 against this.

PlexSheep,

Oh I was thinking of something else, it e5 is too confusing

PlexSheep,

Chrome dev tools are better and way more supported by whatever ecosystem you develop in.

But what if you’re not a web dev?

PlexSheep,

That one is not that complicated if you don’t think about the math. It’s basically just if we interpret the float as int and add a magic number we have a good estimation.

From what I remember at least, it’s been a little while since I implemented it.

PlexSheep,

It’s good

PlexSheep,

Yeah that one got me too. Rust has tons of c libs wrapped in safe rust.

PlexSheep,

about:profiles exists too, but isn’t really a lot better.

PlexSheep,

I’ve recently lost my contacts from my phone when syncing to proton. Not sure how they got deleted in the first place. I didn’t even think about it assuming it was a very basic feature. I had to manually export a backup from the proton contacts. Fuck around with the export because Apperently my phone wanted either an old or new format, and then manually import it.

Self hosted syncthing relay with keepass, how secure is it?

I already have my keepassxc and syncthing setup on my phone and computers and it’s great, I’d like to go a step further and have my password database sync when I’m not on my home network. From my understanding I can use relays set up by other users and they are encrypted, but if I do not trust syncing personal (encrypted)...

PlexSheep,

Personally, I’ve just set my devices to only sync in my LAN, just in case.

PlexSheep,

More Linux more good. Especially so since many servers run Linux, which might want to use Mail and VPN too.

PlexSheep,

PlexSheep,

Ah thanks that’s exactly what I was looking for.

PlexSheep,

Everything alright. You’re doing an amazing job and Jerboa is a awesome application.

PlexSheep,

Always good to have options
