PS3 lets me play online for free. Later consoles don’t.

PS3 plays CDs and stores media files on its internal hard drive. Later consoles are limited to external storage solutions for media playback (and no, streaming doesn’t count).

PS3 has a snazzy user interface. Later consoles have… a user interface, I guess.

PS3 plays PS1 disks. Some models even play PS2 disks. None of the later consoles do that, having a strong reliance on digital downloads for PS1 and PS2 compatibility, meaning some games are straight up limited to the earlier consoles.

PS3 even lets me transfer games and media to a PSP or PS Vita through a USB connection. Guess what, the later consoles straight up don’t do that.

Don’t have an HDTV? PS3 works with composite, component, and even S-Video in addition to working with HDMI. It even downscales Blu-ray Disks to fit on your super small screen. Got an HDTV? PS3 upscales your DVDs to fit your super big screen. Later consoles only work with HDMI, and I’m not sure if the upscaling/downscaling thing with DVDs and Blu-ray even works or not.

The choice is yours.

We don’t hate Jews, but we do hate Israel. The two things are in no way synonymous. There are non Zionist Jews, and there are non Jewish Israelis. Some Israelis are against what their state is doing too, regardless if they actually are Jewish or not.

Although for some reason some people in my country definitely hate both. I have spoken to a friend of mine yesterday who said he wanted the Jews gone. I don’t think I should continue trusting that guy.

I am from Morocco. I don’t remember being friends with or even meeting a Jewish Moroccan. Maybe they’re so rare after so many of them left to Israel. And people tell me that the Jewish Moroccans that stayed get treated with respect. I have never experienced this to confirm that.

And yes, antisemitism definitely exists over here. Most of us are dumb enough to believe that Israel is synonymous with Judaism as a whole, it is not.

Lemmy is basically an parallel universe of Reddit. There’s less people here, which means smaller but also less toxic communities. Since this is a segment of the fediverse, people also tend to talk about Linux and free open source software, while also trashing on Windows, Google, and any other product by what I like to call “Big Tech”. People are much more liberal here, there’s more tolerance for the LGBT community, there’s basically lots of hatred for cars, people praise the European Union. Ok some of these are bad examples of liberalism, but still, it’s all found here. Enjoy your stay. If you don’t like it, you’re free to bid us farewell.

I bet all the conservatives are gonna be mad when they find out that even I have no idea if I’m truly male or not. That would make me genderqueer, which is a subset of trans. I mean, I do look very masculine, and use he/him pronouns, but my voice is a bit too… “gay”, and I like wearing tight clothing and oversized sweaters with bucket hats (bonus points if it’s a color that isn’t even close to being associated with manliness, at least where I’m from, such as… idk, pink, and in the case of what I would wear, purple).

What’s the percentage of cis in that case? 50%? Less? More? How would being aroace affect my het percentage?

Well, imagine being aromantic AND asexual at the same time. The former refers to experiencing no romantic attraction (so… no feeling of love outside of friends and family), the latter refers to experiencing no sexual attraction (so… the lack of a desire to have sex basically).

You need to have sex to have children, which is also something I don’t want. Hell, I don’t even wanna be married. Most people I know are mad at me for just that, let alone associating myself with the LGBT community for basically not wanting marriage and children… and also not feeling manly enough.

You learn new stuff everyday.
