Not quite the same but when I came back to the US for high school after being out of the country for 10 years I had some upperclassmen that were like my older brothers.
I didn’t know the school system and inspite of being born here my English was a lil rusty since I spent so much time out of the country and their English classes are bare bones. These guys noticed and took me in, they taught me how school works, how classes work (I was used to the teacher coming to our classroom instead of us having to go to theirs), they made sure at least one of them was available to always walk to to classes or go pick me up and bring me to the rest to hang out, they would give me some money to spend during events as well and generally we’re a good influence. All hard working, driven dudes who had plans for the future and were chill. I wish I had kept up after they graduated, I know theyre doing well for themselves even if I have no proof. It’s the sort of people they were.
Watching gamers back peddle on cyberpunk hurts my soul. Just because the game is good now doesn’t excuse the bullshit they pulled on launch but peope just excuse it because it’s good now, they get what they deserve.
I was troubleshooting Bluetooth connection today and I thought that this is somehow related to software (PipeWire, bluez, bluetoothd and all that stuff). But no. Apparently Bluetooth barely works when WiFi antenna is disconnected from my ASUS motherboard....
I usually connect it as a backup/so I don’t lose the antenas but im also mostly wired. Good to know that it helps with my Bluetooth as well. Being able to easily hookup your phone to pc via Bluetooth is underrated. Especially via the phone link windows app, so many features and things you can do when you have em hooked up.
Similar thing for online polls. Tech savvy people would lean left and we tech people, by in large, wouldn’t bother wasting our time on these polls. Meanwhile the people who do usually lean toward a certain side.
This isn’t a comment to disparage nor compliment apple but I suspect the photo app itself does some post processing in addition to having good quality cams on their phones.
Yea that’s why I prefer vegetarian over vegan. A ton of the classic vegetarian dishes that are amazing rely on dairy and other animal products that aren’t directly meat. From simple things like quesadillas to sopes vegetarianos and enchiladas.
It’s all about spices though, I’m dissaponted in that restaurant. Mole Poblano is quite literally all spices and chilis.
Out of curiosity I googled vegetarian Mexican recipes and I’m a bit disappointed there was non of the classics that I cook on the top pages. It’s a lot of nuvegetarian recipes, which there’s nothing wrong with but they all seemed sorta samey.
Here’s a CNN link that talks about how they were animating for shows like invincible. Iirc the people behind the show didn’t know but it’s a symptom of the problem with outsourcing everything.
You would probably get less egg whites which would still be a win as some recipes don’t use em so it’s less waste but these can’t be cheap I imagine. I could just Google it but eeeehhhh.
Add a little dispenser with a lava bucket and some easy Redstone to have this done automatically. It’ll kill the adults and leave the babies. Make sure theres an egg dispenser from the chest aimed toward the pen and it’ll just fill itself automatically.
