104: Jet Set Willy II (1985)

Unfair deaths, annoying tune, and dodgy value proposition aside (JSW2 is basically the original with more rooms), this platform game fascinated a younger me.

The oddball humour in the enemies and room names/designs combined with the sprawling map to create a game that felt like you could find anything, if only you could just make it through one more screen.

Sooo I might have accidentally ordered a Zelda edition OLED Switch. Bit of an indulgence for sure but given I barely ever go down the pub any more and the last time I set foot outside the UK was in 2019 going to Hyrule is the closest I'm going to get to having a proper holiday for the foreseeable future so it might as well look as nice as possible while I'm there.
