Stores like target will charge whatever they can, do you think target is saying well we could charge more but we won’t to be nice but now that shit is getting stolen we’re going to increases prices to make up for it.
It’s factored into profits but that doesn’t mean it’s going to change the price. The reason cost is a factor is because competitors can’t charge lower than what it costs for the product. But when you have online as a competitor then things like cost of stolen items have less of an impact because you need to compete with them or other chains who have figured out how to prevent theft at a cheaper cost than you.
Yeah but I feel at least at weddings circle dancing is more common and that requires going in the middle and showing your moves not really partner dancing. I haven’t been to a wedding where there’s partner dancing with enough room to do a waltz.
How many resources would they need to go in with boots on the ground because it looks like they do have enough resources? (Serious question is it a dollar amount a person amount etc) If say Hamas was in an Israeli hospital and Israel didn’t have the resources to go in with boots on the ground would you find it acceptable to bomb the Israeli’s hospital? If your answer for one is yes and the other no then you don’t value Palestinians lives.
The Israel Defense Forces releases surveillance camera footage from Shifa Hospital showing Hamas terrorists bringing a Nepali and Thai citizen who were abducted from Israel on October 7 to the medical center.
I’m honestly confused because the original article just says Hamas was seen taking one of the hostages to the hospital. Isn’t that a good thing like hey they are trying to make sure these people don’t die?
Yeah I completely agree with your sentiment your talking about both sides right? I’m saying that it makes no sense to bomb a hospital if your enemy is taking the hostages there the get healed unless you don’t care about the hostages and just want to kill Palestinians.
Yeah I agree with both sides. You realize Israel has been arresting children simply because someone said they picked up a rock or said free Palestine. Sounds like both sides are taking hostages.
When the electricity my panels generate deliver electricity to my neighbors they charge my neighbor for transmission even though the transmission didn’t exist.
Generally when people refer to the grid they’re talking about things like high voltage power lines or at least going through transformers. My block has a transformer at the end of it which means my whole street is on 240vac. If I send power to my neighbor the only infrastructure that is being used are those low power lines. They don’t wear out or degrade from me sending power from my house to them. In fact I save all the use of going through a bunch of transformers and long distance. In fact almost all infrastructure degrades due to age not usage. So a more equitable fee would be hey this is our operating cost for the grid per person you get charged per month. But no ca wants that fee plus a fee for transmission which is just double dipping and clearly a way to make more money off the monopolized customer base.
I just really hope they select games that have a good story or even better have a great story that and attach it to some IP that has very little storyline. People come for the IP but stay for the story. Unfortunately they’ll probably just pick the game with the largest fan base, attach some well known actors to it and then cram a bunch of nostalgic references into it and call it a day. Especially since the success of sonic means a lot of money will be sunk into it and a lot of suits will try to push dumb shit through.
I mean I do agree with the fact that the bill doesn’t provide funding for the condoms just that the schools need to provide it. That sounds pretty dumb to me.

It’s not 80% of electricity it’s 80% of all energy consumed so transportation, home heating, and manufacturing all use fossil fuels. The electrical grid is about 60% fossil fuels. Thing is a lot of people who have an electric car also have solar panels and if you consume electricity before it enters the grid it doesn’t get counted in that statistics. I’m not saying it’s a high percentage but if you have solar panels and an electric car then it doesn’t matter what the grid is.

I live in CA where a law like this has been in effect for a while. Almost all jobs I look at have a pretty tight pay range and has allowed me to bypass not wasting time applying for super low pay positions. Every once in a blue moon you see a company post in bad faith but that’s an anomaly not the norm and let’s me know they’re a shitty company I shouldn’t work for.

But heat radiates out to space it doesn’t accumulate in the atmosphere like CO2 does. Plus if we switch to a fully renewable grid you aren’t introducing any new heat to the system just moving it around.
