I have a bad memory, and I lost my dad 20 years ago. The things in this poem are the things the fuzzy memories I do have remind me of. This is my altar to him.

Pine needles In a panic. Wind summoned. The sun sets And fills pockets Valleys Inlets Seethes against Mountainside. Long strides And echo Against cliff face. Falling and fallen Pebbles and ember. Oxygen fed and Carbon starved Stars burn and Scatter Then Burrow Nestle Soften the Darkness.

You have built a fine altar of words carrying the remembrance for you to visit.

Memories always become fuzzy, especially of things, people and situations that don't or cannot exist anymore - sometimes until it's resting as a feeling of nostalgia within.
