I don’t care what people say, the most important historical event in my lifetime was the discovery and release of the lost Steely Dan tape containing The Second Arrangement

Bo Burnham: Inside?

Wikipedia says All is Lost has only 1 character, but I did find a SPOILER scene that shows Redford by someone else’s arm for only a couple of seconds. I’d figure this is the only scene with anyone else onscreen.

I wouldn’t count anything that isn’t at least arguably as long as a movie. Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out and the SpongeBob episode “Gary Takes a Bath” otherwise would count as well. There’s probably an otherwise qualifiable clone-focused episode of The Clone Wars, too.

Person 1 saying “haha” makes them a hypocrite if the words of the ancient stone frog are to be interpreted as being said by Person 1. Person 2 spoke their line with no braggadocio.

R2’s bottom hole is clean 😏

I noticed the dent at the back of his neck too. The figure was packaged disassembled, so maybe the white piece incurred that damage while in transit?

After studying the dome for a bit, here’s what I think happened:

  • Pad printing on a hemisphere seems to be done by dropping the pad directly onto the center of the hemisphere. Example here
  • Lego pad prints different colors at separate times and with separate pads. Example here briefly at 28 seconds
  • The plain Flat Silver dome gets the light blue color printed on it.
  • The dome is then tilted out of place a bit due to machine error and receives the Silver print at the wrong location.
  • The dome is straightened out but slips out of place downward due to the tilt, so the pad for the Dark Blue print does not come all the way down onto the dome, leaving the neck area nearly free of Dark Blue print and making the Dark Blue print look runny (or “melting off”).
  • The dome shifts slightly and receives the Black print and the Dark Pink print (not concurrently)

This sequence accounts for how the colors of paint are layered as well as the drift of print misalignment.

Home “ownership” on September, 9th, 2012:

“It is my sad duty to inform you of a four-foot restriction on humanoid height.”

“I hear the directors of Genetic Control have been buying all the properties that have recently been sold, taking risks oh so bold. It’s said now that people will be shorter in height; they can fit twice as many in the same building site (they say it’s alright). Beginning with the tenants of the town of Harlow, in the interest of humanity, they’ve been told they must go—told they must go-go-go-go.”

One thing to notice about the upper B-wing is the iconic orange circles on the wings. The only B-wings to appear in RotJ actually don’t have these markings, and the scenes involving the prop with the orange circles must have been scrapped due to the difficulty in capturing the thin wings against a blue screen.

Ah, ok. So it’s crucial to know that there is an existing type of sandwich just named “East Coast Italian”. That clears it up. Thanks all for answering.

What’s the relevance of who discovered the technique? Surely the parts were designed with that geometry in mind. The commenter is asking about the choice of representing the technique by way of bricks made out of bricks.

My attempts at reverse image searches only showed the original Reddit post and your Lemmy post as the only matching results. A good rule of thumb for citations is still noting where you got info from even if you cannot find or identify the primary source.

My point is that even with that indirect link that obscures who the OP is, the audience of the Lemmy post may be prone to assuming that the first person they see posting the content is also the creator of the content unless they see directly stated otherwise.
