Yeah, and there’s a fair amount of money behind this push…which like…I’m not American, don’t live in the States, but my sister and her wife do…and I’ve gotta figure out how to get them the fuck out if things go Trump again…

Edit: also, living in the UK I run into loads of people who go “Well, if Trump gets in again, that’s not really our problem…” but like…the USA makes they’re problems everyone’s problem. And another Trump presidential term would be a huge problem for the rest of the world…

As a Stonemason, this shit always bothers me. Recent example was an article on stone henge. “Scientists still mystified as to how the stones were stood so that to caps were level!”

Mfr! Give me a straight piece of wood, a length of string and a rock, I will make you a basic level. Don’t want to lift the stone in and out multiple times to adjust the level? Get logs and cut them to the same length as the upright stones. It’s not fucking rocket surgery!

On another topic, while I’m straight, if I were gay, I don’t think I’m prepared to date, let alone marry, someone with the same first name as me. Being gay is perfectly normal, marrying someone with the same first name as you isn’t. No judgement though, just don’t think I’m cut out for it.
