So all armies will end up promoting big hero 6 and NextGen as movies to inspire their next soldiers? An internship at Fransokyo for all till they’re promoted to MIT (or amazon warehouse) to stop thinking about weapons? Or to any equivalent R&D place in Europe or Asia/China…

I think AI bot-soldiers could be used to replace real soldiers who are now protecting borders and monuments around the world, not sure about real soldiers used in defense. In that case I think drones will play the major role for a long time. The AI used in soldier helmets might help but not so much if you consider it’s already used in the form of algorithms: AI will be just an upgrade

Fxos was just android + a custom launcher, it was not a huge investment since it was just a launcher in the end. They focused on low prices, a camera to create video reports and a usable mobile browser.

Remember that MS removed office from chromebook’s play store, you can imagine why, they are pretty scared now. Apart from office I see the Cad industry offered briscad to Linux , the video editing industry offered davince and lightworks, the 3d modeling one has blender which is just industry-grade per se, I guess office and adobe are the only grandparents reluctant to switch to the new world.

Robots are made, programmed and maintained by humans. But fewer humans are required, true. Arduino, robotics kits and the entire stem world has been promoted to tackle this problem. It’s not so expensive to organize schools this way, but the required staff to train kids is still missing. DIY can help a lot. The labor who couldn’t benefit from this kind of edu should receive the basic income and be trained as much as possible.

I’m not sure we can think of a state-managed industry where robots work and people just have fun.

Ma un impianto fotovoltaico non può essere isolato dalla rete se il picco è troppo alto ? Oppure richiederebbe che ENI/Terna abbia accesso agli inverter dei privati?

Dove a finire l’energia in eccesso non lo so ma è certo che sono in grado di gestirla.

Il discorso batterie dovrebbe essere affrontato dai gestori, che anziché andare a investire in nuove assurde soluzioni di approvvigionamento di energia, dovrebbero specializzarsi nello stoccaggio di qualsiasi surplus.

Il tutto sarebbe risolvibile con batterie a basso costo (vedi al sodio o all’alluminio) che non debbano per forza tenere l’energia per mesi (come il litio) ma basta anche solo che la tengano per una settimana, tanto entro una, due o tre notti la riusi. Questo per dire che anche fisicamente è risolvibile secondo me (e secondo molti). E’ questione di mettere in pratica adesso, i picchi non vanno visti come un contro ma un pro.

E come lo aumenti il carico? Accendi cose a caso? E come te lo chiedono? Ti telefonano? Se gestissero gli inverter privati potrebbero risolvere la cosa da remoto? Tecnicamente è una cosa gestibilissima via API pubbliche oltretutto i sistemi tipo quello della zucchetti sono già monitorati (e non so se addirittura gestiti) da remoto da zucchetti stessa. Oppure basterebbe che il contatore scambiatore fosse semplicemente essere più smart? Sono curioso di capire questa problematica.

If we managed banks, money and estate properties for real, it could happen tomorrow. Tecnlogy allowed us to do it: take a map, write down owners names and associate their money, then redistribute. But you should still check that people don’t ruin it all what have been done till now
