SynonymousStoat,

You know what I miss? I miss StumbleUpon, it turned up so many cool websites back in the early 2000’s and actually seemed to be good at recommending sites based on categories you subscribed to. I may have been a bit of a power user as I ended up on the top stumblers list one or two times. Those were definitely some of the good days of the Internet.

In most states in the US it’s perfectly legal to own and possess spores of psilocybin/psilocin producing mushrooms, what’s technically illegal is growing and harvesting them. There are quite a few legal (check for your state) online sites where one could acquire spores for… mycology.

Also, it turns out, people have figured out how to grow a variety of mushrooms at home, culinary or otherwise, using different “teks” and it’s gotten to be pretty easy. If one were to be truly interested some simple searches would most likely turn up any information needed.

SynonymousStoat,

Alcohol, Cannabis, MDMA, LSD, mushrooms, Ketamine, 2C-B, and DMT in that order. I don’t know if there is anything else I’m interested in trying other than Mescaline and even then I’d probably only consider doing it if it was San Pedro.

SynonymousStoat,

We’re big on subscription services now, can’t sell subscriptions if the world is going to end.

SynonymousStoat,

So is peoyte, mdma, and psilocybin. Personally, I think only heroin and methaqualone really deserve to be Schedule I drugs. Heck mdma is scheduled higher than actual meth!

SynonymousStoat,

So we’re going to make the company’s they sold the data to destroy it, right?

In 2018, Republicans accidentally legalized cannabis. Now 22 AGs want them to undo it (thehill.com)

A coalition of 22 state attorneys general is calling on Congress to address “the glaring vagueness” that has led to legal cannabis products being sold over the counter across the country — including sometimes from vending machines or online....

SynonymousStoat,

From my understanding, when it comes to edibles, your liver converts both delta-9 and delta-8 into 11-hydroxy-thc so the effect should be almost exactly the same. Where as when you smoke or vape delta-8 or delta-9 there is no conversion that happens which leads to differing effects.

SynonymousStoat,

You might be able to accomplish this using DaVinci Resolve, there’s a free version and it works on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Sometimes views on things change and maybe some picture or other content you posted now makes you a target in some way that it didn’t before. You don’t always know how things will change in the future and adding such a highly expected piece of functionality like deleting something you uploaded should probably be more highly prioritized.

SynonymousStoat,

Yeah, that makes sense. I didn’t really have the full scope of the issue in my mind when I wrote my comment. Thanks for giving some extra perspective.

SynonymousStoat,

Yep, I’ve had two die on me, both within a year of purchase, for no real reason whatsoever. I’m never buying that brand again.

Tennessee Republican files 'abortion trafficking' bill for pregnant minors (www.tennessean.com)

A Tennessee Republican hopes to establish an “abortion trafficking” felony for adults who help pregnant minors get an out-of-state abortion without parental permission, an effort reproductive health advocates argue will run afoul of constitutional rights such as interstate travel....

SynonymousStoat,

This only seems to specify, “…with the intent that the minor engage in prostitution or any criminal sexual activity.” So I would be lead to believe this law only covers “prostitution or any criminal sexual activity”. I don’t believe one could expand this law to cover any activity that is illegal under the original state’s laws as your original comment stated.

SynonymousStoat,

The problem is, the dumb then go on to infect people who medically cannot be vaccinated.

SynonymousStoat,

Ketamine, as I currently understand it, is not known for depressing the respiratory system. Usually when people asphyxia during ketamine use it’s because they’ve gone unconscious and then vomit and choke on that, which is one reason why mixing ketamine and alcohol is generally a very bad idea.

SynonymousStoat,

Your reference, at least in this particular quote mentioned in infants so I’m not sure how that translates to teenagers or adults. But, yeah, looks like you’re right in at least high doses or very fast IV infusions, which I think this case covers both a high dose and a very rapid IV infusion. But I believe at what would be considered a normal dose there seems to be very little risk of respiratory depression.

“Consequently, ketamine-induced apnea or respiratory depression are transient and rare in case of occurrence, and result frequently from rapid IV infusion.”

SynonymousStoat,

Well, I learned a bit more about ketamine today, so thanks for that. I wasn’t attempting to defend what the paramedics did to this person, it was more a slight attempt at defending ketamine against the generalized “ketamine makes you forget to breathe” statement as I felt it made it sound like it’s a very common thing.

SynonymousStoat,

This would be nice, but I think it would also be nice to have a setting where it blurs NSFW on your main feed, but once you go into a community it’s unblurred.

SynonymousStoat,

That’s awesome to hear! Thanks!
