Syringe, to facepalm in Nicki Minaj arrested in Amsterdam, claims officials 'took my bags without consent'

On the one hand, it’s still super fucking stupid. We had to give up an arms dealer or something for that. On the other hand, I could totally picture Russia just arresting someone because they decided that they were wearing the wingy colored socks

Syringe, to world in ‘A catastrophe’: Greenpeace blocks planting of ‘lifesaving’ Golden Rice

This is spectacularly misinformed.

Syringe, to orphancrushing in A Missouri fifth grader raised enough money to pay off his entire school's meal debt

How in the hell is he going to obtain his own bootstraps if you’re paying for everything with our taxes?!?!?

Let them get jobs in the mine! I’ve been working there since I was eleven and I turned out just fine!!

Excuse me - I need to go move my lifted ram 2500 before the repo man finds it.

At his age, he probably wears then like a badge of honor.

Syringe, to politicalmemes in Transcarpathia Marge

This would count as a foreign interference investigation, would it not?

Syringe, to politicalmemes in Transcarpathia Marge

Isn’t law enforcement supposed to be dealing with this shit? Isn’t this the NSAs whole fucking job?

Syringe, to politics in MTG says Johnson needs to "do the right thing" and resign, or be ousted

He’s a fundy traitor. Just because he finally caved on this issue after ENORMOUS political pressure, doesn’t mean he deserves any credit. He should be jailed for all the lives lost in Ukraine while he dicked around and held this up.

Syringe, to canada in Canadian TikToker slammed for refusing to pay tax at Home Depot

Whether he left the money or not, no sale was made as he didn’t pay the agreed upon price. He stole those goods. When HD files their taxes, it’s not as though the government doesn’t charge them for the tax on that. Or rather… That’s how it works for small business. I have no idea what kind of tax breaks they get.

Syringe, to news in Israel vows to retaliate against Iran for missile attacks

BUT THEN HOW IS EVERYONE GOING TO KNOW THAT OUR DICKS ARE BIG ENOUGH?!?!?!?!

Syringe, to world in China is giving Russia significant support to expand weapons manufacturing as Ukraine war continues, US officials say

Excellent! We’re going to start applying critical sanctions and economic pressures since China is supporting an event of the US… right? RIGHT!?!

No? Oh. We’re going to sit on our asses and watch the eradication of the Ukrainian people. Swell

PBR and a shot of two of shitty whiskey is sometimes very appropriate. Don’t put is in that bucket.

Syringe, to worldnews in Paris Mayor Says Russian, Belarusian Athletes 'Not Welcome' At Olympics

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. There’s too many people out there posting shit like this for real.

Syringe, to technologie in Nvidia CEO predicts the death of coding — Jensen Huang says AI will do the work, so kids don't need to learn

We’re not there yet. Right now, AI development still requires someone to stitch it all together. It’s a VERY useful tool when you’re trying to dig through twenty years of docs and issue threads (lookin at you Drupal) and it’s a massive time saver, but at best it just sort of guesses at what you’re wanting based on patterns that you’ve already established in code. All this will do is allow the to produce more code, cheaper. It might be true that there won’t be developers who don’t use AI in the future, but as long as business reqs are created and interpreted by people, sometimes going to need to be in charge of it to make sure the machine is interpreting things the way that it’s supposed to.

Syringe, to politics in Nearly Half of Congress’ Top Staffers Want to Quit

I don’t know that this has ever not been true. It’s sort of a soul crushing gig
