    Can offer some context, Shop is the part of the business aimed at customers, ie provides a marketplace, payment instalments, package tracking, etc. It’s actually a decent set of services

    @sundogplanets I briefly did an internship with the IT team at University of Manitoba. Their homebrew LMS, Jump was generally referred to as Junk by staff and students alike.

    4 years working IT at University of New Brunswick showed similar sentiments for Blackboard.

    What’s your favorite naming achievement in Objective-C?

    Mine was on a side project where I created a selector called slogThroughLoginUsingHandler:.

    I like the alliteration of “slog” and “login” and the fact that this particular login process was somewhat baroque and it really was a slog to work through it.

    @kyleve @numist @gparker @ctp I have spent some time with these SDKs in Hopper and one of my favourites is a delegate method didPrinterImpossible. It looks like it is supposed to be a fall through error case that never happens, instead it happens every time the printer goes offline

    Thing that kills me about "just rewrite in Rust" energy is that yes, if you translate the O(n^2) algorithm to Rust it is indeed faster, but you still have an O(n^2) algorithm. Maybe think about the problem more abstractly first?
