I watched the first couple episodes of this, and it's definitely worth a watch if you liked the movie or the books, and yet doesn't exactly follow the plot of either! If anything I'd say it reminds me more of the comics, but it's definitely its own things with some twists!

And like back when I first read them, get some definite feelings from Ramona Flowers. sigh

So, I'm checking out Bluesky. It's all right. Does seem to remind me of Twitter pre-Nazi. I think it probably has a good chance of being the next big social network if they ever get out of invite mode. Lol

But it did make me realize that though the fedi has lots of problems, the sense of community here will never be replicated by any corporate entity. And I have zero trust in Dorsey.

I'll probably play around on it for a while though. @itsjustjenn over there if you want to connect. 🤷‍♀️

Working a later shift this week, so every morning I get up at the hotel and order breakfast and sit there and casually drink coffee for an hour. It's interesting. I hardly ever eat breakfast.

You know what 10 years on Twitter never got me? Any real friends. Just followers. A lot of them, yeah, but 99.9% of them didn't really give a crap when I left.

In a year on , I've made so many friends, some of whom I love dearly. Not to mention a supportive community that let me feel safe enough to finally start becoming the woman I was always supposed to be.

This place is far from perfect, but it's worth it. Here's to another great year!
