Mozilla has accused the three major browser makers—Apple, Google, and Microsoft—of sabotaging Firefox.

The company says it launched a new issue tracker where it intends to document the ways in which platforms put Firefox at a disadvantage.

I'm a strong supporter of personal freedom, but with that comes the freedom to take the consequences.

I have no problem with people who choose to be carriers of a deadly disease. I don't understand it, but i don't have to understand your freedom. That's the whole point.

You should not have the freedom to recklessly infect strangers, however. Your right to swing your fist ends at my nose.

So how about putting all anti vaxxers in camps or something?

AT&T is sending out letters warning they want to kill virtually all landlines (and perhaps related data circuits where fiber is unavailable) across essentially their entire coverage area throughout California. This would have devastating effects. Related CPUC meetings will be taking place through March.

Landlines provide crucial services for individuals, businesses, and other organizations in a wide variety of situations -- not just emergencies when cellular and Internet service tends to rapidly fail, but also for vast numbers of people in areas with poor, unreliable, or in many cases (even in large sections of major cities!) NO cell service, NO fiber, etc.

Landlines often provide the only available communication in a wide variety of security and safety situations, from elevators to interior spaces of all sorts where cell service simply doesn't work.

Many disabled and other persons have crucial equipment that depends on landlines. Often they are not tech-savvy and do not have friends or relatives to help them through forced technology changes.

AT&T has been shirking its public safety responsibilities for years, while still leveraging their effective monopoly on services in so many areas.

Their new effort must be stopped. I'll have much more to say about this as the situation progresses.

I can hear the covid surge in the homeless shelter at night. Last night was kinda terrifying. Literally all around me, probably 1/3 of the men who sleep on my shelving unit and the one adjacent, had a wet cough. At least one sounds like he should be hospitalized.

Plus, they threatened to cut my lock and throw away all of my possesions not in a plastic bag. I now sleep with a wet towel and washcloth in my bed.

I have an intuitive understanding of abnormal psyche and was just watching "Firefly". I am so not surprised M Wheedon got metoo'd.

Every aspect of this show is obviously, deliberately dumbed-down. It's like "Married With Children"; a genius writer intentionally throttling himself for mass appeal. This very much applies to the "feminism".

The intrinsic scorn for humanity shows thru. Women are humans. People with authority over people they don't respect.

I think i just figured out that my mother talks to the nsa. She knows she's an asset, and has been fucking with me my whole life. Like, she was trying to turn me gay because the reagan administration told her to.

She dumped me in atlantic city knowung it was an open air prison for sexual predators, and she knew she belonged there, not me.

She knows they sent thugs to kill me when they couldn't entrap me.

She's gonna lie about this until she dies.

We can describe autism in a freudian manner. Autists are stuck in our superego.

I think my family are just stone evil. They talk like liberals, mostly, but their actions are aligned with the nixon/ reagan/ trump axis.

Imagine how fucked up I am--every single person in my life has been completely artificial, and I never learned how to spot a lie. That's emotional thinking, and I'm not only autistic, I've been disassociated as a trauma response since age 8.

And everyone just took advantage of it.
