Astronomers have used the James Webb Space Telescope to observe Earendel, the most distant star ever detected.

Earendel is so distant that the starlight glimpsed by the Webb telescope was emitted within the first billion years of the universe. The universe is estimated to be about 13.8 billion years old.

I just tried to post three times on threads about how I was boycotting the PGA for getting into bed with Saudi Arabia. All three times I was told they were protecting the community and my post was not allowed.

Since I despise Zuckerberg anyway, it appears that my brief dalliance with Meta has come to and end. I’m glad I signed up for Mastodon.

I reject the notion MAGA voters are too dumb or too gullible to understand trump was lying to them about the 2020 election. It’s worse than that. They knew trump was lying but they didn’t care because they have chosen Trump over the USA.
