I love going to the local park here in Pittsburgh and it is just filled with kegs, looms, mayonnaise machines, and crystallariums. Just is one of the joys of living in Pittsburgh!

I think after I made my fursona Nova a squirrel, most of the changes she's actually had from that point on were changes to her hair. It was a progression of like:

• No hair
• Short hair
• Much longer hair
• Hair that's noticeably darker than her fur (which was also made less neon)
• Different hair style

Though I have had some other small refinements here and there, like deciding furry footpaws are just better

Laptop mysteriously stopped doing anything at all when the power button is pressed, and I don't see anything obviously bad when I open it. To make matters worse the screw holding the SSD in was very stripped, though thankfully my brother was able to get it out with pliers.

I can probably just switch over to treating my Steam Deck as my main computer while I decide what I want to do next (and when my enclosure arrives I'll have all my data too). It's a 2018 laptop so it could make sense to upgrade (which would require researching) but ideally I could get it fixed because it worked fine and I want to keep using it because that's more environmentally friendly.

I vaguely feel like desktops might work out better but that would require a desk.

I figured out why I can read so fast, which is 2-5 words at once and sometimes two sentences at once, it is because I treat everything as ideographic. I see the words and not the sounds. Also translates to programming and reverse engineering as well, assembly instructions are just pictures to me.

One interesting thing about my brain is that despite there being a 2" hole in it, there is a small strand of neurons that bridge the gap... a single information highway through nothingness. Brains are so very adaptive!

I think a big reason that MLP G5 seems a lot less appealing to me than G4 is that in G4 a lot of the characters had autistic traits (making them really relatable) but now it seems like it's pretty much only centered on Izzy Moonbow.

@scout drew a really cute picture of what I think Maffi would look like as a familiar.

She's like a tiny, flying version of Care Bear Cousin Maffi, and she'd do similar magic to the bigger version, making art that becomes real like Paint Roller from Kirby, but from a cute magical girl companion kind of angle.

I wanted to see Nova as an Emolga since it seemed like it could be really different from how she normally looks while still being a squirrel of some sort. It was really tricky to figure out how to set up the colors on this!
