Same here. I wish it had a different name since it might be confusing for guys with curly looking to take the best care of it, but it's basically a product recommendation system to make sure your curly hair is healthy and you aren't using products that might damage or dry it out.

There is a fix you can apply to fix the glitching ragdolls. If I recall correctly if you don't fix it there will eventually be a physics related puzzle that won't work right because the physics won't be responding correctly and you'll get stuck, but my memory could be wrong.

It's pretty easy to fix and will increase your immersion

Can the risks of vaping cannabis be reduced by sucking into the cheek and only indirectly "inhaling"

This might sound really stupid (be gentle) but I wonder if some of the risks of directly and forcefully inhaling cannabis vapour can be attenuated by kind of sucking into one’s cheek rather than directly unmediated the normal way and then indirectly sort of vaguely breathing it indirectly....

My wife and I make pot brownies all the time. As long as you know the dosage in your cannabutter you can deliberately choose how much to put in. If you make them the same way twice then by that point you know how big of a piece to cut to get a specific dose.

The other person is right when it comes to taking doses from edibles you get elsewhere with differing dosage amounts, or if you have poor self control or something, but edibles can totally be a primary way of ingestion, it's just harder to learn proper dosage than inhalation, for instance, you can easily make edibles too weak instead of too strong if you want to be careful, they're not always too strong and youre not always bound by God to eat too much, just be careful and not impulsive. You can always wait and eat more, you can't eat less.

All of their games have their mod kits release about that long after the game comes out, so while I can understand the timeline seeming excessive, and I might agree, it's less extraordinary, and more predictably ordinary.

And your 5/10 is my 7/10, so tastes will vary. I think a lot of what makes Starfield problematic is inherent to its design and the growing pain of them moving formats to space and not simply a bug issue, though the bugs are absolutely there, so making your personal rating of it a supposed effect of its bugginess is, I don't think, completely accurate, but your point still stands.

I'm surprised I don't hear more people talk about this, maybe because they seemed to strategically handle bugs and content more thoroughly in the early game so that a lot of players would gush about that and be more forgiving by the time they got to act 3, along with everyone who didn't even make it that far and only praised it online instead.

Starfield gets dragged through the mud for both deserved and undeserved reasons, almost universally without nuance, and BG3 gets blanket praise and acclaim, almost universally without nuance, and then I see this comment thread where there are apparently some serious issues grouped within a specific portion of the game and I'm not sure if that's better or not.

Indeed, that's the worry. It sometimes seems like AAA game development is learning just how far you can push the average gamer and still get good word of mouth online by way of leaving choice aspects incomplete and compromised

Glad to know it's good, I was hoping it would try to ride the interest of its premise. Have you tried Ni Oh? I haven't played them yet myself, but always heard good things about them in the realm of soulslikes

For a squirrel you're quite well-spoken and genteel. I applaud you, my good rodent.

Weird bug: Barbacoa Wraps (food item) not showing up in inventory when crafted

Dunno if my save is just borked and I’ll have to revert or what, but I can’t seem to find Barbacoa Wraps (and possibly other damage-reduction foods) in my inventory immediately after crafting it. If it helps, I’m currently on Sarah Morgan’s personal quest. I was a little further along, but I reverted to a prior save when...

all-knight-party,
@all-knight-party@kbin.run avatar

When you craft them, do you get an increase in your carry weight? Probably would need to make a good few to see the number tick up.

Interesting. I wonder if that whole hab is just bugged. I think my current ship actually has a Stroud eklund mess hall, I'll have to try it when I play next

Probably my brain. If I could far surpass the most intelligent people in the world then I'm sure I could capitalize on that in tons of ways, probably even in financial ways by charging for shows of my intellect

I wish I could say that in 2023 people would be past judging others for "basic music taste" but I still see people on the internet shitting on artists like Katy Perry. It's okay to not like an artist, but it's not bad music, it's definitively good and well made.

Ke$ha is a persona she puts on, and she has catchy music! Be proud of that shit!

It's all right, grandpa, I'll get the walker, let's get you back to the bed, you can send the updoots to my left.

I'm sure they want to keep always online for the same reason other games do, it's guaranteed DRM.

all-knight-party,
@all-knight-party@kbin.run avatar

It's more about the price of all the new games put together, and then the fact that a lot of review copies are sent in advance and for viewership purposes getting a review out quickly is important, but with some bigger studios not sending copies in advance more regularly now maybe we'll see less incentive for reviewers to submit to their will.

I'm appreciative of some of the stuff they've done. Of the newer games I've only played Odyssey, but having an open world game that fully supports stealth is something I can't get somewhere else.

Other open world games feature very light stealth mechanics, but not to the degree that Odyssey deliberately designed its world and outposts to have spots to hide and maneuver in stealth. It's the only one where I've been able to actually play an open world game as a stealth game where combat only happens if I mess up (or it's one of the unique bosses).

The stealth genre is almost on its deathbed compared to the 2000s, so I'm glad there's a few big games still carrying the torch, or maybe just this series when it comes to the AAA space.

Also to mention is the Switch's true selling point, the portability. I can emulate whatever I want looking however I want on a PC, but not only is that more work, but I'm then chained to my PC, and I'm not some rich person who can responsibly budget to have a PC, Switch, and a Steam Deck on top of it.

The elven archer units from Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth 2, with their blue arrow upgrade.

They shred absolutely fucking everything in that game from range.

I like its vibe. It can be irreverent commentary that doesn't take itself too seriously without being a shit post.

It was a moment of weakness, clearly he's changed his ways and that desire is completely gone, never to return.

all-knight-party,

Indeed. At this point it's a "well, they got rid of the retroactive fees... this time, what about in five years?"

Holy shit, finally. One of my favorite games of all time, and with NSO online I can actually play the multiplayer over the internet. I never had friends with this game way back when.

For anyone wondering, it's basically a Kirby Metroidvania with 4 player support even with AI, you can all independently explore the world and use phone battery power ups to summon each other to your location if you're far apart and want to link up. Awesome game.

all-knight-party,
@all-knight-party@kbin.run avatar

Actually, the fact that it didn't have that is the sole reason I never bought it, so it brought it to life for me

Most of the actual story wasn't funny bad, it was just unmemorable boring bad. Choice few things were funny, it almost entirely begins and ends with Caxton
