Gnocci, Zucchini, Pesto verde (vegan), Spinatblätter und dazu vegane Bresaola, weil sie das Peas of Heaven Roastbeef aus dem Sortiment genommen haben.

Das Peas of Heaven ist mit das Beste, was es an direkten Erstazprodukten gibt.

Dadurch, dass die Dinger fast am Rand sind gibt mir das fast nen Flair von Schweden oder Norwegen, wo das dann die Randmarkierung ist.

Ich frage mich gerade, ob und wieviel günstiger die Aldi Steckersolarpakete jetzt in den Filialen angeboten werden.

Wenn sich das nicht verkauft, wird's ja immer mehr vergünstigt.
Dann bleibt zwar immernoch die Garantiefrage übrig, aber es ist nicht mehr so teuer.

Since Meta and Twitter don't comply with GDPR I don't really see a reason not to block them, but that decision is up to you for the instance you administer, not me.

But I guess the outcome will be like Twitter's ActivityPub or Gab.

Anywhere between that.
Won't hurt, but I'm blocking them, because they will use backend data against you or even give it the gov without your knowledge.

May also happen here, but have that blocked right away does, hopefully, solve leacking data into that problem.

Just like MS 365 services can't be used GDPR compliant.

Meta is not gonna buy Mastodon or any server, this is based on absolutely nothing and untrue.

Yes, some of us indeed got contacted by Meta/Insta because they are working on a new social platform (this was in the news) and they are looking into joining the Fediverse (Mark Zuckerberg also told this in the recent podcast)

SO.

This contact was about a "heads-up" for a potential big platform to join the network and not for a "take over".

No contact needed for that. Release notes/post and a server setup is all you need to get into the Fediverse, as we all did with ours. And since Meta already is a bad actor blocking them rideaway is the preemptiv move, before they get more data for analytics.

Again, there’s no need for a head-up, even for bigger instances, since they just need to make the server federate and be done with it.

    Well crap.. Mint on the spare all top (that I’m test bedding everything on before switching the main laptop to it) won’t play nice with the canon printer.

    It’s seen on the network, claims to have the driver and shows up as a print destination. When I sent to print the printer makes all the noises and whirring back and forth as if it’s actually printing but.. the page is blank!!

    @wiredfire Maybe look for a fitting .ppd-file, which you can import AS driver in the printer settings and try it again.
    At least that's whats working for Kyocera and Intermec printers.

    @wiredfire @AFx Selling an app to a user requires some kind of DRM, which, if not proprietary is always easy to bypass.
    That's why that doesn't make much sense on F-Droid.
    But what's possible is to have your app, which can only talk to your backend service over a paid plan or other kinds of paid access, compiled and listed in there.

    Or the other way: Collect money voluntarily from app users and have that shown in F-Droid, too.
    Imho a pretty good way, which get's the app into hands of peoplke who need it and also return some money if they want to.
    But yes, it won't be as much as if you whould only sell it on a big platform, that's for sure.
