I am a weird, white, cis-het #linguist who loves all of the #animals, who has two #dogs now and has had lots of dogs over the years, and who really likes #linguistics and #languages. I work with an #IndigenousLanguage community in the US on developing #languageTech. I am learning to improve my #coding and I want to know everything about your languages and your #pets. Today I was asked why I wasn't doing as much work as my coworker and I'm a bit baffled why "focusing on a single task to completion" is such an outrageous approach.

I don't multitask well, and because of that, I'm going to spend the entire night ruminating over this and nothing else.

I left celly at home when we went on our walk so didn't get new photos this evening but I also didn't share the video from our meeting with Sgt Scruffy the other day so here it is.

would very much like to play with the Sgt. too.

Two big dogs on one side of a chain link gate meet a little dog on the other side of the gate. Everyone wiggles and wishes they could play together.

Um our grocery store has moved the liquor minibottles to an impulse-buy display right before the checkouts and I never expected a Safeway to go this hard.
