Im Schaufenster einer Buchhandlung: Die Werke welcher zweier anderen Autor*innen hättest du gern neben deinem Werk? Warum?

Ganz ehrlich? Wenn eines meiner Bücher jemals in einer Buchhandlung im Schaufenster liegt, werde ich so ekstatisch vor Freude sein (u.a. weil es mir dann auch endlich gelungen ist, meinen Vertrieb umzustellen), dass es mir gleich sein wird, wer daneben liegt.

Außer, es ist so jemand wie Hitler. Dann würde ich rein und mein Buch persönlich rausholen.

I always do for the English books. Found it online, double-checked and modified, and now it's part of my template.

For the German ones, it's so far the usual state of copyright owner and year. It's not as long as the English one (yet).

#phantastikprompts 7.5.: Arbeitest du gerne mit Rückblenden? Warum / warum nicht?

Manchmal ist es notwendig. Ich versuche mittlerweile allerdings, so gut es geht in einer Zeit zu bleiben. Rückblenden können für den Leser anstrengend sein (und ich mag dann die Vergangenheitsformen auch nicht so.)

#TimeTravelAuthors 5: Why time travel?

I love history. I would love to be able to see these things with my own eyes. Hence, #LifeStages was born.

#JulesNVera wasn't originally meant to be about time travel, but (yes!) this hashtag inspired me. I had an old story from my teens, which I never finished, and I used that one as backstory. Also, I could incorporate little scenes from my historical stories.
And now, there's #TimeCurves and waits for me to edit it 😁

Not sure how to answer this. To copy something that is less than 100 yrs old would be copyright infringement in my country. References, yes, I did that, but no copying.

I have a poem in #AlsterDiamonds that is not my work, but I referenced it and used it not so much as homage, but because it fit the need.

Hat Euch Mal etwas so richtig an einer Geschichte gestört, obwohl Ihr das #Buch ansonsten gut fandet? Was war es?

Ich muss das tatsächlich auch über Wolfgang und Heike Hohlbein sagen. Ich fand die Anders Reihe gut, aber die Tatsache, dass ihm immer die Schuld an allem gegeben wurde, hat mich doch sehr gestört.

Mittlerweile habe ich die Bücher verschenkt.

it's more the other way round, unfortunately. I plan to hate them, start by hating them, and when I finish, they have somehow developed redeeming character traits....

Welches Buch hast du gelesen, in das du dich am liebsten hineingebeamt hättest, um dort weiterzuleben? Was hat dich so angezogen?

Hmmm. Ich wäre natürlich gerne Bastian aus der Unendlichen Geschichte gewesen, oder die Heldin aus Allerliebste Schwester.
Aber ich hätte auch vieles ganz anders gemacht. Also gibt es vielleicht doch kein Buch.

Katja: Uhm. I'm too impulsive. I tend to act and speak before I think. Otherwise, I would have never asked Friedrich of Swabia these questions or eavesdropped on Max - really, not!
Although, in hindsight, it's good that I did that, right?

With the exception of my very first epic fantasy trilogy, no. I drew maps for those in paint.

Not gonna share them, though. They're really rough and need to be improved 😅

Max is haunted by what happened to him. It doesn't deter him from doing what he deems right, but it messes badly with his feeling of self-worth.

Luckily for him, Katja will find out one day and remedy this. And then he'll be much stronger.
