So, I have a few neighbours who's cars sit there unused 90% of the time, if I have a car, it spends 90% of it's time doing the same.

Why do we not have community car share schemes? Why rely on companies to provide this?!

So, the Apple TV remote.

It’s failed. It keeps going ‘up', and it appears to be a hardware fault as I've updated and reset everything. Shaking it sometimes helps.

But, it's no biggie... I've paired my SN30Pro+ controller to it, which works great! But I can't turn off the apple remote, I can't remove the battery, and I can't appear to unpair it. Therefore, it still keeps going ‘up'

My choices are... let the battery run out (which will take months... it's on 55%), or take it out of range 😅

🍄 I'm finding stock cubes to be way too salty now, effectively making anything I add them to taste the same, unless I overpower with other ingredients.

So, the past couple of weeks, I've been making up Mushroom Dashi as I need it. It's worked out far better, and leaves room for other flavours!

I had an “Ad Blockers are not allowed on YouTube" popup on YouTube in Safari today.

Not long ago, I was hopeful that YouTube's ad free subscription service would come to the UK, but no... it's been shelved, so ad-free YouTube Premium is the only option, which would be fine if it weren't the most expensive streaming subscription out of just about everything.

Does anyone else just use a plain desktop or phone/tablet wallpaper? I was trying to find something on my desktop, and just couldn’t because of the cluttered wallpaper.

😩 I wish there was a button I could push to turn off, or at least pause my facial hair growth.

Shaving is a chore, and if I leave it, I’m fine for a couple of days until it itches, and then I have no choice but to de-fuzz!

@sarajw Hi Sara, I noticed on BSky that you mentioned about CSS and that reminded me.

My wife wants to learn CSS to help her at work. Do you have any resources or thoughts about courses that she could look at?

She's building surveys on a semi-bespoke system at work, which does use CSS to format assets and content. It's not part of her job, but as it will help the team (and her ultimately), she's diving into it lol

Are companies such as Dropbox pivoting to AI purely as a result of FOMO?

Is "because everyone else is doing it" a good enough reason?

We are soon going to be flooded with pervasive AI tech throughout everything we use... and I'm not convinced that this is a good thing.

I wouldn't want to burden people who I connect with on this account with such things, as that's not what this account is about.

I just discovered the tyre pressures on my car were all 40psi...

I need help with art resources for inclusive skintones and haircolor.

With my Profile Pic commissions, it would be easier if people could pick colors that best represent them, from a swatch. The only reason I've not done this already for these is that I don't want to leave anyone out.

Can someone offer me some advice on this or let me know of a good resource that I can explore?
