@jtlg over on bluesky people who seem to know say it's just unlucky wind shear - and actually, i had an experience once of turbulence and then a sudden drop where i absolutely would have cracked my head on the bulkhead if i hadn't been wearing a seatbelt

@jtlg I was once on a plane that dropped suddenly downward in turbulence - I was literally floating over my seat until the seatbelt yanked me back. But I have no idea how/why

Okay, one of these incidents was clearly not an issue with the plane - it was the runway - but this is still terrifying and leaves off stories of other airlines (there was at least one from Alaska).

Is this really an uptick or is it just they all get reported now?

I've seen these Tesla ads all over Twitter. I'd like to remind everyone that among the evidence Chancellor McCormick cited in Tornetta was that Musk engaged in related party transactions between Tesla and other of his companies w/ no oversight

They succeeded in canceling an options grant to Musk - preventing shareholder dilution - so it's appropriate they take their pay in a small fraction of what they provided to investors.
