“Though it's got a surprisingly modern look, this teapot was made in the 18th-century in Staffordshire—the heart of Britain's pottery industry. The area’s limestone yielded prehistoric fossils, and potters often turned them into whimsical motifs for teapots.”

For 🦇:
spotted at The Frick Pittsburgh’s Chinese Porcelains exhibition!

Porcelain vase with enamel decoration, China, Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period (1723-1735), c. 1730.

: The center medallion of 2 joined encircled by 7 more is a , or visual pun - the Chinese word for bat is “fu,” a homophone for the word for "good fortune,” and “nine” is also a homophone for “long-lasting.” It was likely a wedding wish for a happy marriage.

An even closer look at the medallion design from the OP - stylized Chinese bats, 2 joined orange ones in center encircled by 7 joined pink ones, surrounded by main base design of multicolored floral decorations on white background.
CHINESE, QING DYNASTY Yongzheng Period (1723-1735) Vase, c. 1730 Porcelain with enamel decoration Frick Art & Historical Center, 1970.1 This vase bears a reign mark from the Yongzheng period of the Qing dynasty indicating that it was directly commissioned by the Emperor. The decoration is incredibly fine with delicate floral embellishments emblematic of the period. The central medallion depicts two joined bats encircled by seven more. The decoration forms a rebus, or visual pun, with a hidden message. The Chinese word for bat is “fu,” which is a homophone (sounds the same) for the word for "happiness." Likewise, the pronunciation for "nine" is the same for “long-lasting.” The emblem was most likely intended as wedding wishes for a happy marriage. Henry Clay Frick purchased this vase from Cottier and Company in 1903 along with other furnishings for Clayton and it was briefly displayed in the reception room before moving to Eagle Rock, the family's summer home in Prides Crossing,
