First day of the new dosages of Strattera. Don't notice a difference.
There are numerous factors that could have stopped it from working today, so process of elimination. Will try removing factors tomorrow and see if it gets any better.
Side note:
Maintenance came by to replace my bathroom light, and I hid the fish tank behind a bunch of boxes lol
@Cassandra Every rental in Texas forbids aquariums because if they leak they can cause water damage. Most people just have the fish tanks anyways and hide them lol. Much like how people hide their cats from their landlords haha
@Cassandra It’s pretty standard across the US, really. No fish tanks in rentals. People have them anyway. Saw a post on Reddit earlier today where someone had two 36 gallon tanks on stands and covered them with table cloth to hide the tanks during an apartment inspection.
@Cassandra It’s understandable. I’m lucky that no one ever comes in here from the office or maintenance, so the risk of them finding it is very very low. Especially since the office is rarely open.
Zero cashiers. Only self-checkout. My hands are shaking a lot from the heat and struggled to bag my small amount of groceries. Kept dropping everything.
Going in grocery stores: zero stars, do not recommend 👎
I got so mad at all these cold emails and 4 to 6 cold calls every day Monday through Friday. Yesterday I basically told them all to F off and stop emailing me. Today my phone has only rang once.
@pathfinder I ordered a SIM card yesterday so I can change my number. My business email, number, and LinkedIn are in those stupid leads databases where businesses pay to get leads from. Learned that yesterday when someone emailed me through one of those databases.
@thomas This house thing I ordered from Petsmart just shipped so it should be delivered today it says. I’m waiting for this thing to get here before I add water to the tank.
Those spiky things look a little stabby, so may need to try to cut them off.
Edit: says it won’t be here until Tuesday next week. May order another one with same day delivery and then return the online order when it gets here.
@thomas I ordered the house thing and another silk plant with same day delivery. Figure I’ll return the other one when it gets here next week, or whenever I go to pick out a fish.
I don’t know how long to let the tank cycle. Some on Reddit said 4 to 6 weeks, someone I know says 2-3 months, and the bottle of Quick Start says it makes it so you can add fish sooner. Don’t know which is right.
@thomas Ah makes sense. The person I know says to add food and wait for the food to dissolve and create the bacteria, but that sounds complicated. Another person I know said to add live plants, but I think that’s beyond my skill level.
I got that freshwater master test kit. Looks like it comes with different bottles of chemicals.
I need to check that betta fish book again. It had level ranges everything needs to be in the water for a betta.
I’ve been watching these simplified YouTube videos and my autistic brain still felt confused after watching them. One said there’s no set amount of time your tank needs to cycle without fish, it just depends on when the levels are safe.
We really need to rethink our capitalistic obsession of running things like a business. Cutting costs to increase profits obviously doesn't make sense in areas of education, healthcare, public utilities, and prisons, to name just a few.
Hell, Boeing is making a strong case that it doesn't even make sense for businesses to be run like a business, much less these public goods...
