Adam Mosseri further clarifies position about news on Threads
Instagram and Threads Chief Adam Mosseri posted on Threads to clarify what people perceive to be suppression of news on the platform.
I don’t believe the IG team and especially leadership are sneaky or malicious in any way but it’s difficult to see this statement and take it at face value.
Monopolies aren’t illegal but using monopolistic practices to the detriment of consumers is. Millions are hoping for Live Nation and Ticketmaster to go eat dirt. https://flip.it/YU4kDh
@flargh I don’t understand how Congress decides one way or another because I thought the basic point was whether consumers will be harmed by a merger especially that of two dominant companies. I’m sure there was strong opposition to this back then but they must have ignored it.
On the other hand, the companies and their execs probably weren’t the only ones benefitting, if you know what I mean.
@cheeaun sure, I mean, shouldn’t the preview show the … preview? Technically it is rendered on Phanpy but the preview looked like it was linking to the login page. Don’t know if it’s something you can adjust or worth spending time on.
@drahardja A tech bro was once in Nantucket
Saw the beach and he decided to truck it
He pushed his luck
On his Cybertruck
Now it’s stuck on sand, the dumb schmuck
@KingShawn dude is almost 60, he hasn’t boxed in like 20 years, and he’s fighting a Gen Z boxer coming up on his prime. That 30 year difference warrants the underdog status, don’t you think?
@bynkii@KingShawn hmm, good point. If he still has close to the same hitting power as he used to and as you said, can get close, that’s a recipe for disaster. Unless Paul can lock Tyson like Holyfield did.
