@ausretrogamer
Ah, very good. 👍
I'm at that unfortunate point in my life where, as a retrogamer who emulates everything on his PC (and GP2x).. I just have too much stuff. And I'm not investigating systems I never had, though I'm sure I'd enjoy the heck out of them, just because I don't have to time. 😋
That said: I'll reconsider this position when I retire. 😎
@ausretrogamer
I’m on-board with most of the features they put in this beastie. But.. separate volume controls for left and right headphone? Sure, they can be operated together. But that’s something I would’ve simplified to a single, more robust, control. 🤔
This may be controversial, but we’ll call it out, ℝ𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝔾𝕒𝕥𝕠𝕣 is the best Game Boy pinball game, period!
Oh yeah, and 𝕮𝖆𝖘𝖙𝖑𝖊𝖛𝖆𝖓𝖎𝖆: 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕬𝖉𝖛𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖊 is absolutely rubbish! #GameBoy#retrogaming
@ausretrogamer Revenge of the Gator was my first video pinball game, and I love it to this day. I played it again early in the summer, for the first time in decades, and it's still excellent.
I also had Castlevania Adventure 30-odd years ago, and I think I beat it. I'm not sure that can be taken as an opinion on how good or bad it was, though. There were Game Boy games that I remember playing a ton - Cosmo Tank was one of my favorites - that aren't considered all that great.
On this day [September 11] in 1977, Atari released the 𝔸𝕥𝕒𝕣𝕚 𝕍𝕚𝕕𝕖𝕠 ℂ𝕠𝕞𝕡𝕦𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕊𝕪𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕞 (𝕍ℂ𝕊) console in North America! Happy 46th anniversary to the woody!
@disidro it’s the AyaNeo Air. It runs most GC games (haven’t tested them all though). There is the option to crank up the TDP to boost performance, but battery life is significantly reduced.
@ausretrogamer I'm really interested to know how you find it. I'm tempted myself, maybe by the annual sub first of all to see what I think of it and how much I'd use it.
