Decided to revisit my #AnimalCrossing #NewHorizons island today, and I had completely forgotten that I’d built a gaming basement 😍

This game, I’m guessing like many others, was my saviour during the first 2020 lockdown.

I started Dark Souls 3, but it didn't feel fun to me for some reason. I switched to Yakuza: Like a Dragon instead, a game I've played earlier but abandoned half way through. I don't know why I did that. The game really seems like a blast this time around too. Also the cinematic bits at the beginning are loooonng.

(Actually, in terms of OMG this can’t be real can it what a game) Demon’s is the GOAT, but I played the original imported from Hong Kong in 2009 so it really was a jaw dropper.

So, I’ve gone crazy and booked a short (less than 24 hours!) visit to Bratislava, less then 24 hours after I return from Baghdad, only because a certain Jean-Michel Jarre announced a free, open air city concert called Bridge From the Future, and this may very well be his last one.

@wiredfire I hope so, I’m really gonna regret it if it isn’t.

I’ve got a Slovakian friend who’s a huge fan, he was with Jarre all day yesterday and got us all tickets to the VIP area. While the concert is free, there’s a fancy area near the stage that will be for starmus ticket holders or VIP.

So that’ll be quite nice.

The amazing loop coaster build is complete!

I bought the optional power pack and motors for it for fully automated magic.

This build is phenomenal, it’s a miracle of engineering and has beaten the grand piano as my most favourite build, ever.

Fun fact: the drop is an L, the loops OO, and the final bend a P, spelling LOOP.

Video shows a Lego coaster with a lift and vertical drop taking riders through two loops at speed.

Blow me, kobo have announced colour e-readers, finally.

BUT! I tried one from a different company earlier this year and it sucked. So I’m not sure how this will be different.

BUT! I love kobo and their devices are amazing so maybe this will be different.

@LadyMarth01 I use my kobos (I have two) a lot. I’m not too optimistic about comic reading on this, the BOOX that I tried sucked for that. My smaller kobo is falling apart so I figured why not upgrade to colour for the book covers mainly.

I’m really interested in NXTPAPER 3, that’s not really e-ink but it it’s a matte screen that looks very much like it. In full colour no less.

I read Comixology comics and they have automated panel transitions so are awesome, even on a smaller device.

But I agree, larger iPads are much better. In fact, comics are probably the only thing I use my iPad Pro for these days.

I can’t wait to get a NXTPAPER device though, they look like the solve all my issues.
