Verve - "A Storm In Heaven" (1993)

This record falls into that weird category for me, of records I was obsessed with when they were released, but then immediately lost all interest in the band for all subsequent releases (apart from that b-sides e.p. from the same year).

It's still sounds great. Dreamy psych prog shoegaze (?). Hard to classify. Terrific guitar on this.

I found an old Nakamichi BX-2 cassette deck at the thrift store today. It wasn't cheap, but I went ahead and got it. I've always wanted a Nakamichi, and this one is in excellent shape. I believe the BX-2 was a sort of budget model of theirs. Sounds great! #CassetteCulture #CassetteTapes #Cassettes
