The guy behind the counter told me to compare the prices to overnight stays at a hotel. With a hotel, you just stay there one night, but with these records, you get to have and hold them for ever and ever.

I presume that this man was selling crack cocaine prior to his employment with the record shop.

"If you get that one for $150, and add in that one for $100, that's an even $250." What's especially cool about it is that it's not a discount, it's just a simple statement of mathematical fact. As though they've run out of selling points. "If you give me this money, I will hand you these records."

I'm probably preaching to the choir, but having spent a few months on , I'm more convinced than ever that the use of lists is critical to using this service. Because there's no algorithm to boost posts in your timeline, you can easily miss lots of posts from people you follow. With lists, you can categorize users you follow and catch up on posts that you may have missed.
