The Idaho Stop at stop signs is now legal in Minnesota. It went into effect yesterday.

"A bicycle operator who approaches a stop sign must slow to a speed that allows for stopping before entering the intersection or the nearest crosswalk. Notwithstanding subdivision 1 and section 169.06, subdivision 4, if there is not a vehicle in the vicinity, the operator may make a turn or proceed through the intersection without stopping."

@TheWarOnCars I borrowed my brother's electric car, which told me how much power I was using to drive. It was hard at first for me to grasp how insanely much more energy I was burning to ride the same roads at the same speed carrying the same stuff. I had trouble believing it. I use 750 watts on my ebike and the car was using 17000!

I've modified my sailboat trailer to connect our tag-along/tow-behind kids trailer.

It connects much more easily than the old hitch and isn't damaging my rear rack anymore. It's honestly amazing that we happened to have a bike trailer that we weren't using anymore that fit almost perfectly into the trailer frame.
