Did someone ever try to use a 3D printing pen to fill-in those nasty seam lines that a printed 3D model has on each layer? Usually I sand them away after optionally filling them with super glue and baking soda. I wonder if closing the gaps with a 1.75 mm filament compatible pen could be an option, as I could use the same filament used to print the model.

To clarify: I don't talk about the layer lines, but of the gap that ist created where the print head ends its journey on each layer. Usually you try to hide this seam at the back or inside your model but sometimes this is not possible and you end up with a visible scar where everyone can see it

So, seit einiger Zeit läuft der Pi 4 mit . Der Schutz ist in der Standardeinstellung schon sehr gut (also ohne https Filter).

Mit fällt auf, dass das WLAN etwas flackert. D.h. Smartphone meldet sich ab und zu wieder beim WLAN an. Keine Ahnung, ob das mit eBlocker zu tun hat oder ein paralleler, zufälliger Effekt ist. Ich beobachte das mal.

@beandev du möchtest sicher ohnehin nicht, dass der eBlocker die Verschlüsselung des Onlinebankings aufbricht. Das ist eine ganz schlechte Idee.

For my nerds: is it possible, via app or otherwise, to trigger an automation when an indoor temperature sensor detects a temp that is higher than the current outside temp via weather? I see how to do it with set/specific temps but I’m looking for a way to notify me if I need to get the AC/fans going before it gets too hot.

@developerjustin this kind of automation should be possible with the 3rd party HomeKit app Home+ 6. I have many even more complex automations running in my Smart Home.

Hat jemand eine Empfehlung Kleinstgeräte per Solarzelle zu betreiben?

Die Stromversorgung ist USB-C. Da hab ich mir gedacht, wäre toll, wenn ich den per Solarzelle betreiben könnte. Basteln will ich allerdings nicht. Von daher ist evtl. eine Powerbank mit Solarzelle die einfache Lösung. @jedie Powerbanks mit eingebauten Solarzellen sind regelmäßig Augenwischerei. Die Leistung dieser kleinen Solarzellen reicht abseits von Marketing-Bla-Blup und Laboren eigentlich nicht zum Laden der Powerbank aus. Außer an einem gleißend hellen Sommertag ohne Wolken. Spar dir das Geld lieber.

    @phranck naja, also das mit dem Stein … vor 30 Jahren hat mich ein solcher Stein den ein vorbeifahrender Bus mit einem Reifen aufwirbelte ins Auge getroffen. Zum Glück ist nichts Schlimmes passiert.

    Und hier im Kreis hat vor einigen Jahren ein entlaufenes Pferd einen PKW-Fahrer getötet, als dieser auf einer Bundesstraße mit dem Tier zusammenstieß und es die Windschutzscheibe durchschlug.

    Sooo irrational ist deine Angst vielleicht gar nicht 🥺

    @phranck ist eine Zweckentfremdung, aber ich habe gute Erfahrungen mit diesem Öffnungstool von iFixit gemacht, um einzelne Schichten PLA abzubekommen. Ist aus Nylon und beschädigt die Oberfläche der Druckplatte nicht.

    @kuketzblog ich habe Signal und Threema deshalb so eingestellt, dass sie weder Absender noch Nachrichtenvorschau in die Pushnachricht packen. Das geht zwar mit Komfortverlust einher, aber der ist verschmerzbar. Die wichtigste Info für mich ist, dass eine Nachricht vorliegt.

    Did finally add some magic coating to the screen? I noticed, there are near to zero fingerprints on the glass. And if it catched a fingerprint, one could completely swipe it away with a finger? What the..?!

    Hm, wie druckt man diese Luftnummer? Die Brücke (blaue Linien), machen einen Bogen.

    Mit normalem Support unmöglich zu erreichen.

    Tree-Support windet sich durch die Gänge, aber wie bekomme ich das wieder raus?

    Hat jemand den Umbausatz für Ender 3 S1 pro auf den schon gemacht?

    Luftverteiler mit Tree-Support, das sich von unten nach oben durch den Luftschlitz windet. Aber es sieht nicht so aus, als könnte man es später entfernen.

    @beandev das ist der klassische Fall für den Einsatz von PVA. Damit druckst du die Tree Supports, legst das Werkstück später in lauwarmes Wasser und die Supports lösen sich im Wasser auf. Nicht ganz günstig das Zeug … das ist der Haken. Wobei ich kürzlich 1 kg für knapp 39 € fand. Ausprobieren konnte ich es allerdings noch nicht.

    @beandev ein anderer Ansatz: Hast du erwogen, dass Bauteil in zwei Einzelteilen zu drucken? Wenn du den oben Teil einzeln drucken würdest, könntest du ihn möglicherweise auf dem Kopf stehend drucken und brauchst für die Brücke keinen Support. Ob das ginge, kann ich auf dem Screenshot nicht wirklich ableiten, das käme auf einen Versuch im Slicer an.
