@NickEast @writers @writingcommunity @authorindiespeak @humour @linguisticsmemes The author actually addressed this, I believe also on Twitter, to point out that she did do the research - there are different methods of pressing olive oil, and the traditional, historical one that is appropriate to the book's setting produces a much more bronze color.
