Has everyone had enough #aurora photography? Probably.

But regardless - here's some attempts at tastefully processing my efforts from Friday night. The colours are indeed absolutely silly - I've left the saturation slider at zero, honestly!

    I'm suddenly reminded of an old science fiction short story - in which the Earth has been thrown out of its orbit by the incursion of another star into the solar system, and now drifts through interstellar space. Eternal darkness, with the atmosphere frozen out into deep layers of immensely cold frost and snow - and a few humans somehow managing to survive in this frigid wilderness...
