The words “content creators” really depress me. What a soulless, corporate expression. It reduces what you make to “content” to be consumed. It reduces what you do to a business practice. It invisibilises all the specificity of your work.

You are making video? You are not a “content creator”, you are a videographer.
You are writing essays? You are not a “content creator”, you are an essayist.
You are investigating and compiling information? You are not a “content creator”, you are a journalist.

Hundreds of Beavers feels like a video game movie for a game that never existed. It uses the language of gaming, mixed with the classic Looney Tunes cartoon logic, in such a way that everything feels familiar but also hard to identify precisely.
Fascinating.

As much as I tried there was no way to decently play Hell Cab for more than a few minutes without it crashing. So after struggling for an hour here is the highlight, and my very appropriate comment "welcome to hell? thought I'd been here the whole time".

Damiano plays Hell Cab, throws himself out of a skyscraper, lands in hell and comments that "he had been here the whole time" since he had been struggling for an hour to get that awful game to run

I'm wanting to leave Spotify (there are so many reasons for doing so) and I've read that Tidal is the streaming service distributing the biggest share to artists (probably after Bandcamp, but that's a different kind of service).

Has anybody experienced Tidal and seen drawbacks? Or do they somewhat have weaker values than Spotify's CEO and I didn't catch that information?
