my bluetooth headphones have a kinda spotty reception due to a shitty antenna implementation (I kinda fucked up the board when I designed it, pending a rebuild anyways). this often means that audio can drop out even if I have my phone in my pocket and I’m just walking about

but apparently in a train, if I leave my laptop playing music in my backpack and go to the toilet ~10m and a wall away, they will just shrug it off and pretend nothing happened. <.<

i’m not even gonna try to understand the 2.4GHz interference at play, it’s all magic (and you can’T prove me otherwise)

a) it’s a pain :( i’m in this place where it’s ultra hard to find information and i’m taking really long to find basic stuff

ok so i got everything done, i hit the render button, and

some objects randomly decide not to show up on the render. and i can’t figure out why.

i messed with the timeline for a solid 15 minutes once, got them to render thinking I knew what the culprit was, closed blender to “restart” my efforts from a known-good project state, and now I can’t get it to render again. worse even, if I add new objects, they seemingly render correctly? wtf is going on

this whole experience is so painful but spending n hours on it now means that I will never again need to spend those hours learning about how this shit works so the speedup for next time is literally 10-100x

long ago i have decided not to run ads on my site just because the “potential revenue” is lower than what I would like to get for… essentially participating in the endless circle of capitalism, making my readers potentially watch those. and i stand by my decision

(furthermore, having a ko-fi link has already earned me more than I would have potentially gotten from those ads.. it just doesn’t make sense, really)
