It wouldn’t be anything specific. The disclaimers would just be overbroad stuff like “Please verify this answer. Google is not responsible for anything. Blah blah blah.”
Even saying they’re guessing is wrong, as that implies intention. LLMs aren’t trying to give an answer, let alone a correct answer. They just put words together.
While I didn’t know specific dates, I’m not surprised by the ones I know by name here, tbh. Flavorful food was a luxury for most until relatively recently, and along with the large cultural changes going on last century, these all make sense.
On Friday, May 24, Lucas — who celebrated his 80th birthday on May 14 — appeared at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival ahead of his honorary Palme d’Or ceremony on May 25. During a conversation at the festival, the filmmaking icon spoke to how some critics of his massively successful space opera franchise have pointed out a...
Star Wars has pretty much always been more than just movies though. Books, shows, games, etc. That’s what I mean by IP. If you’ve got a better term, feel free to share.
Aliens that look remarkably like modern day humans, yah dink (directed at Lucas). While I do think SW was largely progressive for it’s time, the prejudices are readily apparent now. There are somewhat powerful women, but still so often acquiescent story-wise to the male characters who dictate the main plot points.
And characters of color never happen to break into the main character position, do they? They can be badass motherfuckers, and they do get time to shine, but they too sit at the whims of the main characters.
I get George has a different perspective being the age he is, but things change and progress. Star Wars is one of my favorite IPs, but we can acknowledge good things in the past weren’t perfect. It’s how we know we’re improving.
Huh, that’s a good point. A better universal naming system would be something like “Base x+1”, with x being one integer lower than 10. So humans would use Base 9+1, and the alien would use Base 3+1.
*This has been on my mind all day and the more I think about it, the more obvious it becomes how fundamentally terrible the name “Base-10” is. How did this never occur to the people who coined the term? Even the system I suggested is flawed as it’s still trying to incorporate the same bad logic.
A better system would be something like Base 9, stopping shy of the respective 10 in each system, or if it needs to be clarified, Base 9+0, as 0 is the extra digit in the first place, not 10.
I know phantoms suck, but making them a natural spawning end mob would be much worse, imo, not better. At least now they only exist if the player forgets/chooses not to sleep.
Joe Biden’s campaign is facing a strategic dilemma. Since the president’s job-approval ratings have been consistently low, his path to reelection depends on making 2024 a comparative choice between himself and Donald Trump, his scary, extremist predecessor. That task is becoming more urgent as evidence emerges that a sizable...
Not only are the numbers weird, the games within the series (more than just the main 3) came out as exclusives to a wide variety of platforms. KH has such a bizarre history.
