LLMs are plagiarism machines.

I want a language model that’s trained on my personal data. It needs to be offline so it’s not shipping my data off to some company. Because I have dysgraphia writing is fucking HARD and language models can help make it easier. But I don’t wanna to use a plagiarism machine.

If I was to put on my capitalism hat for a second… “Surely someone can see that this is a huge gap in the market?!”

Can someone tell me it actually exists? That’d be a nice surprise

:elmo_fire: currently losing my mind at how many font fallback related articles and even packages completely ignore the fact that Android doesn't have the same web safe system fonts that other operating systems do.

AND of the ones that do consider it there is conflicting/outdated information. I cannot for the life of me figure out:

1. Which system fonts Android does and doesn't have
2. Which font names are aliased to other fonts
3. Examples of how the previous two points will affect rendering

I’ve been fervently working on my website for a couple of weeks. Mainly focused on fixing bugs and improving performance, but I’ve also added some small features. This is the first time I can honestly say I’m happy with the performance of my site, but it’s definitely not perfect. Regardless, yay! 🎉 I’m proud of myself. (1/2)

Okay so, :focus-within works if the focus is inside the shadow DOM but :has(:focus-visible) does not.

However unfortunate, I think it does make sense that :has(:focus-visible) doesn't work across the shadow boundary because we can't select elements in the shadow DOM.

I feel like this means that the need for :focus-visible-within (or something functionally similar) is still relevant.

❓ What’s the best article to holistically explain to my mum all of ChatGPT’s pitfalls?

She’s started using it to get answers to factual questions, that’s what worries me the most.

I despise it for many other reasons but I don’t want her to think I’m just expressing my opinions. Most importantly, I want to explain to her that it will generate very convincing lies that she won’t be able to tell are wrong.

I hate automated hiring systems. I just sent through an expression of interest to a company and the automated system got mad that I linked my CV that's on my website instead of attaching a PDF version of it... 🤦🏼‍♀️
Now I'm worried that the message/cover letter that I spent ages writing in the first email is going to be ignored.
Also, it got my name wrong. Naarm is where I live, not my last name.
