@dyani for REAL tho! One of my favorite shows; shoutout for the book which has the rare benefit of not ruining the show for me, since both are excellent. Reminds me I never watched the final episode of the second season (I didn’t care for it as much, personally)

Funny how i can't wrap my head around the number aspect of daylight savings time. Ask me to calculate the time change and I'm lost.

But if you say "there will be more light in the evening" it makes total sense.

@dyani Daylight Savings is a weird one for me, because on the one hand it is very silly that we still do it despite it all, but on the other I’ve spent a few years crafting an elaborate bit centered around treating DST like a “real holiday” (we got a cookie pie one year and I asked the bakery people to ice it like a clock!) so it’s got a special place in my heart 😂

In a weird mood today, but tried to ignore it by playing Zelda (TotK) and making shokupan.

Carbs that are basically clouds are always a bit of a mood boost.

Got my walk in this AM, and now I'm going to play some D&D. Ghibli campaign time!

@MsHearthWitch AAAA it’s been too long since I’ve had shokupan, and never homemade (there’s a local grocery that gets a delivery of fresh goodies from a bakery in the Chicago area that makes really good melonpan and choco corone too)

I feel like even the people who dislike Musk are putting too much stock into the genius supervillain narrative. It's highly unlikely he's slowly executing some pre-thought out plan to shift Twitter far right. He's a naïve socially-inept billionaire manchild who got radicalized by a bunch of alt-right grifters. It's as simple as that. No master plan, no 4d chess, just someone who never underwent any real emotional development.

@malwaretech I think that’s a very important thing to keep in mind is that oftentimes we see these people as diabolical enemies when they are just incredibly dumb and wielding massive power, like a teenager in shop class with a power saw. Arguably the weaponized ignorance is more dangerous
